Food is only fair and feels like the kitchen doesn't attempt to make an attractive dish. The singer (on a Sunday afternoon was not good ) and it was a very loud and did not allow easy conversation. The restaurant is expensive for the quality and amount of food.

We had a beautiful experience yesterday at Alpina/Terra! Our meal was fantastic: we started with a hot cheese fondue and housemade focaccia, followed by an authentic Italian dish called canederli, which I’m pretty sure you can’t find anywhere else. We also had an amazing polenta with American Wagyu wurstel. Since it was our Valentine's dinner, we ended our meal with the special dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Our server, Joseph, took great care of us. We’ll definitely be back!

$65 testing menu for 2 was more than enough. For future will also need to order some additional meat/protein.

Food was good, however, my chair was facing in front of a blinding sun, it hurts my eyes, could not enjoy my meal anymore because I had to cover my eyes. This happened at the middle of our meal. When I complained, the server said there is nothing he could do.

The food is incredible. The broccolini was the star, but everything was so delicious. The tiramisu was out of this world. Service was how it should always be, top notch.

This was my first and last time eating at this establishment, our waitress was a joy. Even though we expected the place to be slammed due to valentines day, we did not expect the place to be the way it was. First we booked our reservation for 10:30 or so we were sat down at a small table we couldn’t sit comfortably down without having to pull our legs seemingly close . Secondly we paid 10 dollars for a rose that was not in water, due to the small table , the petals were dry. So that ruined that aspect of the valentines dinner experience for me. Soon after the waitress came to our table gave us the menus and offered us water, the bottle was half full when she brought it over. Like I said prior it was our first time here we typically have Italian at Maggianos nearby but because I had read it was going to be a valentines experience I really wanted to try this out. Valeria was our waitress, although the establishment was busy she answered all our questions of the menu to the best of her ability, we truly appreciated her. The table next to us was truly next to us like a foot away. And I wanted indoors to stay warm, I sat beneath a heater but the doors to the patio were being kept open, so instead of me trying to eat peacefully I was trying to stay warm. My partner ordered a chicken skewer 33 dollars , he got the skewer and a overly salted salad, we were not sure if it was the dressing or the cooks added salt to try to make us eat quicker? . I ordered the valentines dinner experience, which was three meals it was an entree, a main dish and a dessert, quite expensive it was 92 dollars. The entree a burrata house made with pistachio sauce and red beats, it was yummy but no bread, so we asked for side bread she came to our table and gave us our bread. For entree a seafood pasta of sorts I forgot the name. It took like 30 minutes for that to arrive. And dessert a puff pastry that was burnt. So like I said first and last time we go to this establishment. An expensive place.

Took an hour for our main courses to come out and waiter did not check on us. He found out in the end that they were sold out. We felt so stupid paying $70 for bread, a drink, and terrible squid. We waited so long for our main courses and all they could offer was free gelato. We ended up just getting the bill to get food somewhere else. We didn't express anger because I know they were busy and made a mistake but at the end of the day, a special night was ruined and we went home hungry.

First of all food is expensive and does not have the taste it deserves as Italian food. Also takes forever to get reservations

This was our first visit to Terra, we decided to try it for Valentine’s Day. Right away, it was very confusing to newcomers to see that Terra was actually Alpina. “A Terra winter experience” having never been before, this was a little frustrating when looking for the spot. Service was great. Daniella, was friendly, informative and took great care of us. She was cheery and didn’t rush us on a busy busy night. Ambiance was really good too. It’s a pretty restaurant. Doing an elegant winter theme. I liked the plaid touches and the candles. It really makes an impression. We reserved for outdoor seatings and even though it was a fairly chilly night, with the heaters and candles it made it quite comfortable. On to the food. We shared both the Tuna Tartare and the Butata Di Manzo (beef tartare). They were incredibly bland. None of the flavors depicted on the menu. I’d even go as far as to say that the line chefs didn’t bother with them. Our beef was barely seasoned, no capers, no mustard, no pickles. We had to ask for salt and pepper because we were really dissatisfied. Tartare is often one of our faves. This was a mess. The tuna was no different. The most flavorful part of that dish was the oil on the plate. Even the avocado that accompanied had zero flavor and no seasoning. As our mains we had the gnocchi and the cavatelli, both were pretty good. Flavors were nice. I do wish they’d offer fresh grated parm instead of the prepared. My husbands was cold when it got to the table, but our server took care of it promptly. These things happen on a busy night. I wish I could say we’d go again. But with so many great Italian places in the area. We won’t make the same mistake twice.

Our service was great but our food was cold. It took a long time to come out after our appetizers and it was room temperature
