Established in 2017, Téatro Bar & Restaurant is the sister business to the nationally recognised Barn Theatre, located nextdoor to Ingleside Hotel in Cirencester

We pride ourselves on offering a unique dining experience; offering quality, sourced produce formed into exquisite menus, alongside carefully crafted drinks, all served by our wonderful front of house staff.

Our stylishly designed restaurant and famous outdoor area, The Firepit, sit either side of our relaxing bar where live piano fills the air. Teatro is the ideal venue for any occasion; a birthday, pre theatre dinner, or a drink with friends.

Disappointing. FBurger was a the blended super dense sort like a cheap freezer isle option. Moules were fairly bland. Small plates to start and deserts were better. Service was friendly enough but incredibly slow. We were left waiting along time between each course even though the restaurant was pretty quiet. Empty items never removed from table etc.

First time pre-theatre dining at Teatro. Wine was OK, food was delicious. Service was a bit of a disaster from start to finish, unfortunately.

So delighted to have found this gem in Cirencester. Beautiful venue and an exceptional menu. Zero complaints from us! Fantastic. Great choice for all diets and lovely staff too.

The food, service and ambience of our visit was just amazing. The staff were so lovely and patient with a 6 person table when deciding on food and drinks. The staff even went out of their way to tell us we had just enough time to get the fizz Friday deal and even reserved us a table in the bar after our meal to enjoy the live music 🎶 very enjoyable evening and will definitely be returning

Yet another great dining experience at Teatro, as a pre theatre booking. Service was prompt and helpful. As usual we were reminded when we needed to proceed to the Theatre for the performance. What is impressive is sensible changes in menu from one visit to another (average of about 6 weeks gaps). The food is excellent, and vegetarian options good, though I would prefer a slightly wider choice of vegetarian dishes. The price of meals is in line with many similar restaurants, so not cheap, but good value. The whole thing is so convenient when paired with going to the Barn Theatre; there is a big public car park (across the road), and you move from Teatro to the Barn theatre completely in the same building.

Sited next to the Barn Theatre, Teatro is a convenient restaurant for both the theatre and Cirencester town. The menu is interesting and the online booking system fairly easy to negotiate. Ambience within is good and the staff generally welcoming. Good starter but the main courses were very late in arrival and although well prepared were inappropriately cold. May simply have been a bad day. Others have found the place excellent and we went based on recommendation.
