   Very friendly service but it was busy so it was a tiny bit slow. The food was delicious. I will definitely be back.

   The food and service are first rate. However, I ate here a couple of weeks ago and had the scallops. There were 4 scallops- $24. Delicious! Ordered scallops tonight, plus many other dishes, and there were only three for $25. I questioned the waiter and he said- yes the menu is being changed. I understand cutting back but not cutting back and charging more. I probably won’t be back for awhile.

   Interesting SE Asian food, Burmese predominant but with flavors from the entire region. We especially enjoyed their fermented tea leaf salad - sounds a little scary but the fermented tea leaves are a touch in the dressing, adding a distinct, unusual and enjoyable funky flavor -, and the pork belly main. Pleasant atmosphere with friendly efficient service. Like its sister restaurants, an excellent bar. Especially good for groups of 4-6 allowing sampling of more dishes. Good value. A perfect spot for an early dinner before a performance at SF Jazz or another Performing Arts Center venue.

   Never disappoints. Great pre performance dinner location whether taking in the ballet, symphony or jazz. Tea salad is a staple, large plates are perfect to share.

   Excellent food and service. Second time eating at this restaurant before the SF Ballet performance and received quick service in time to see the performance. Restroom is wheelchair accessible and clean which was good as one person in our party uses a walker.

   Went for a pre-Symphony dinner. Food and service were excellent. Tea Leaf Salad was wonderful and we enjoyed the table side preparation. Ordered Short Rib Khao Soy and Coconut Chicken Curry with Eggplant side. I rated the spice level of our dishes from 3 to 5, a perfect balance. I look forward to coming again soon.

    If you've been to Burma Love or Burma Superstar, Teakwood delivers on amazing Burmese food. The coconut rice and curry dish make for a winning combination; and you can never go wrong ordering the tea leaf salad, samusas and garlic noodles. While we were disappointed with the spring roll as the rice paper was noticeably hard like cardboard, we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the carmelized cabbage side dish turned out. Overall, the food, service and decor / ambiance make for a great dining experience.
