VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

    First time here and went for a date night and the food and service was great. Next time I'd like to eat in the restaurant but we were seated in the extension (still a good experience though). Highly recommend the Pastitsio! Our server (Nelson) was really helpful and provided great service. We can't wait to go back!

    Food was delicious and environment was stunning. But I do not recommend for a first date or any occasion that requires a conversation. The music is obnoxiously loud.

    From beginning to end, it was a great dinner. We arrived early for our reservation so found seats at the bar. Cocktails were all very good. They had a great list of mock tails too. Violi has a really cool vibe, but the conversation is loud if that bothers you. Great service. Plates are designed to share and all 6 of us did. We liked everything we tried from the lamb shank to branzino and the mousaka. Will definitely return !

    The food was good but the portions have gotten a lot smaller since this space opened and for the prices, not worth it. Drinks were $17 each 🥹, sorry but that is insane for the suburbs!

    Very disappointing experience. Food was not great, one of the five of us waited an extra 10 minutes before their entree was delivered, and other entrees were cold. We were overcharged by 50% and are working through getting that fixed. The restaurant did not apologize for making this $250 mistake. Do not recommend.
