Taste of Belgium is a modern Belgian brasserie that fuses Belgian and American cuisines with locally sourced ingredients for both brunch and dinner. Taste of Belgium offers a carefully curated beer list featuring an unequaled selection of Belgian brews and craft cocktails to enhance every meal. In 2023, Jean-François Flechet, our founder, was honored with a knighthood by the prestigious Knighthood of the Brewer's Paddle, recognizing his dedication to Belgian brewing traditions. Our journey began in 2007 at Cincinnati's historic Findlay Market, where Jean-François introduced a traditional Liège-style waffle recipe and a 120-pound cast-iron waffle maker from Belgium. Since then, Taste of Belgium has expanded to seven full-service neighborhood brasseries across Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. We love their breakfast but had never been for dinner before. Great menu and beer selection. The mussels and fish and frites were excellent. If you’ve only had the waffles I recommend you try dinner there.

The worst server ever. Ordered chicken and waffles with a side salad. Later I asked if my salad was coming first and she said no because I didn’t ask for it to come first. When I ordered dinner she made a remark that she couldn’t read my mind. I’ve had eggos that taste better than their waffles. I will never return

My son and I had a great lunch. The lunch time muscles were very good as was his tuna salad. Our service was very good.

The chicken sandwich was alright. The pretzels and beer cheese were plain and not very flavorful. Our appetizer also came out after our food. Wouldn’t choose to go back necessarily but wouldn’t avoid it altogether.

It was great! Walked in 15min early, got our table then ordered our drinks and food. Taste of Belgium did not disappoint!

Love the food and great beer selection but service is not what is used to be. Last visit we had to wait 15 minutes after being seated before our order was taken.
