   Great venue. When you see the front door you would never expect to find whats inside. Probably one of the nicest restaurants we’ve visited in NYC and would definitely recommend to anyone. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Food was a high standard and drinks were enjoyable but classy. There was so much to see and enjoy with this venue. Would love to return one day

   Worst experience I’ve had in a looong time! Service was abysmal and how they handled the situation lackluster! Took 30 minutes to be seated after checking in on time and then we were ignored all night. Took 30 minutes to get a dessert and by then the birthday boy that it was for had to leave and catch a train. Took a full 45 minutes to get the bill. Horrible and I will not go back!

   We had an amazing dining experience at Tao, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Precious. This was the second time she took care of us, and once again, she was absolutely fantastic! She has such a kind and welcoming presence, bringing an incredibly positive vibe to the entire experience. Precious was extremely helpful when it came to ordering, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Most importantly, she was super accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect. Exceptional service like hers makes all the difference, and I truly appreciate the effort she puts into making guests feel valued. If you’re dining at Tao, I highly recommend asking for Precious, you won’t be disappointed!

   Really want to love this place due to the fun space and ambience, but the food is very subpar. Don’t go to Tao hoping for good sushi - go to Nobu for that. The noodle dishes are probably the way to go. The sea bass app is good. Honestly, I booked this for my kids thinking they would enjoy the ambience, but even they were less than impressed with the food, so I’m bummed I didn’t just take them to a better spot.

    The food was decent but not great. Came out pretty cold. Our waiter was nice but it definitely seemed like he was new. A drink was put on the check that we didn’t order and my reservation deposit was not returned or deducted from the check. The place itself was very nice as well as the ambiance.
