   Not the best experience here last night. Took a long time to get seated or even acknowledged that we had arrived for our reservation. Took a really long time to receive service and my wife felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff by being there. Not a great feeling for her birthday dinner.

   "Sushi Mike" has, our server confirmed last night, retired and the food here was not the same. It's decent and everyone was very friendly, but it's not the excellent sushi that it used to be. Sad to lose a neighborhood gem.

   We always have the best experience at Tanoshi. And we always get chefs choice because it keeps coming until you tell them to stop. And it’s always amazing.
