   Tan is truly an eating experience! Went for brunch and it did not disappoint. Had already been there for dinner and it was excellent. Their homemade salsas are really good and the fish tacos just burst with flavor. Highly recommend!!

   A hidden gem in Midtown East! For outstanding Mexican cuisine, Tan is an excellent choice. We had the Yucatan Chicken and the Short Rib al Carbon and both were impeccably prepared and plated. This is a NYC restaurant that you don’t want to overlook!

   My experience at brunch at Tán was excellent. The food surprised me with how good it was and I was delighted by the variety of vegetarian options and drinks.

   Tan is a favorite of ours. It’s such a special place with great food and drink menus, and a wonderful ambiance. We went when they opened and most recently on a particularly quiet night - both experiences were top notch. I look forward to going back and would highly recommend it to others.

   Spent my mother’s 51st birthday at Tan and had an exquisite experience. The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal along with the host and busser’s, who cleared and cleaned our table with the upmost speed and professionalism. 10/10 experience, brunch was amazing!

   Very very nice establishment. We went for my friends birthday and it very much gave off an elevated Tulum atmosphere in the City. The food is super super tasty and the portions were a good size. Great place to go solo and groups to try many dishes at once. Service was excellent - didn’t have to wait for my glass to be refilled, dishes to be collected, and the host was very accommodating and friendly. I’d definitely come back.

    I’ve never had a restaurant give me such a constantly phenomenal experience until I dined at tán. From the start, we were greeted by Camila, who did an incredible job accommodating our party from the first phone call to confirm, all the way until we were all seated. The ambiance in the restaurant makes you feel like you’re on vacation in Tulum- it’s so beautiful inside. Ethan, our server, was incredibly personable and recommended incredible drinks—mocktails included— and his food recommendations were spot on. He even gave kudos to Fernanda, the pastry chef (we all did, as dessert was literal perfection- please try the corn cake). The manager, Emilio, was the cherry on top of the evening. Welcoming, warm, informative- and checked in multiple times through the evening, ultimately ensuring that the birthday guest had the most incredible time, which was certainly the case. He even gave us a mini-tour on the way out of the restaurant at the end of the evening. The whole party is convinced that the best front of house staff in the entire tri-state area were hand-selected, rounded up, and all placed in tán restaurant. Well done xoxo we’ll absolutely be back soon
