    It was a bit disappointing being we were one of the last customers serviced that night. It was only 7:30pm. We were seated quickly but the service got really slow. They only had 1 server & 1 bus boy working. They ran out of paella which my husband & son wanted to try. Our server should have told us right away. She made us wait a few more minutes to take our order. Not sure what was going on with the server—she spilled an entire glass of cold water on a customer; she kept tripping; she dropped 2 more glasses, she talked a mile a minute. We were not impressed at all considering the bill came out to >$400. Expected more from this restaurant.

    Terrific restaurant. It’s classy and upscale. We both had the baked fresh catch (Ono) and it was fresh and well prepared. Our son had the French onion soup and the homemade Mac and cheese and he loved those too. There is a view of the inland mountains that’s lovely and some amazing large scale photography of the island on the walls. Our server was attentive and friendly. The wine list was OK and the cocktail list was inventive.

    We shared 4 small plates including the Caesar salad (delicious), Louisiana riblets (tender ribs and great coleslaw), mushroom risotto croquettes (very good) and the prawn (tasty but a little overcooked). Based on our experience we plan to return to try the paella. Lovely setting and good service by Jenny. Worth the trip.

    This place has a lot of promise, but I don't think it will never be realized. They are far too concerned with nickel and diming their customers from everything from charging an additional 4% on credit card transactions, to wanting to charge for additional bread. They will likely plead poverty due to expenses, etc., but this is not the type of low budget restaurant where such behavior should be tolerated. At $75.00 for steaks, there is enough margin to cover some simple things here and there to make customers' dining experience worth what they're being charged. Our server was great, but the food is not good enough for their greedy behavior. Disappointing evening, for sure.
