Took quite awhile to get our food even though there were not many people there.

This used to be one of our favorite apres ski restaurants for a great basic burger, fries, soup, etc. This year 43.1 was transformed into an Italian restaurant. A MAJOR disappointment! The food was worse than mediocre. My eggplant parm was skimpy and the linguini tasted like reheated leftovers from the previous week. It was heavily sprinkled with cheese that I didn’t request. Wife had an osso bucco which was cold; not well reheated. The accompanying polenta was watery and tasteless. The wine list lacked a Pinot noire selection. Our server was passable but had her right arm in a cast. Not very appetizing! She never came back to ask if everything was alright. Needless to say, we left without dessert or coffee and will NEVER return… unless they bring their burgers back! Presenting this as an “Italian Restaurant” was a colossal mistake on the part of someone in the Stratton organization. They should get back to basics.

Service was fine, however, the food was awful. Steak came out undercooked and chicken piccata was overcooked. The menu was sub par, bread was hard as a rock (probably pre-frozen). Was a disappointment.

The room was cold. When the food arrived it to was cold. No one came back to the table to find out how our food was, until we were finished . I would not return to this venue to eat.

Our family of 4 had good experience! It wasn’t super fancy but the food was great! Prime Rib was huge ($34/$40).

Food was just OK. Our waiter was attentive and it wasn’t loud, decent place for families with kids.

Mediocre ski lodge food, seemed under-staffed so the service took a long time

You don’t expect a 5 star experience at a mountain lodge… but this restaurant is truly 1 star. My haddock was overcooked , dry and cold. The fried mozzarella had this weird piccata sauce on it, that was flavorless. The pastas - all had no flavor but at least one came out somewhat hot. The service.. it’s hard to criticize the kids serving but they all look deer in headlights when you ask a question. There are limited choices in Stratton but don’t waste your money. It really is that bad.
