The stunning multi-room space was designed by the world-renowned design firm AvroKO and is located in the heart of the Fulton Market District — the birthplace of Chicago meatpacking.                                                                                                           The Steak was absolutely perfect. Delishhh. The sides and salad I wasn’t impressed. The beets salad was a bit bland needed dressing or was lacking something. The baked potato was good but a little too much cheese in the potato for my taste. The spinach was prob my favorite side. The mushrooms were a little greasy. The wagyu tartar was also amazing. Would recommend.

The short rib almost tasted like bbq and was a ton of fat and inedible. My wife’s salmon was okay as well. Shocking for a place like this.

                                                                                                          Swift and Sons is an excellent Steak House in the heart of Fulton Market, the historic Chicago meatpacxking district. It's been an annual go to for me for the past few years when visiting Chicago for the IHA Housewares Fair in March. The restaurant has a buzzy atmosphere and excellent attentive staff with a great menu and wine list. I can recommend the steak tartare and the cold seafood platter with fresh lobster, shrimp, scallops and oysters as sharing starters, with great steaks and sides as entrees. It's not the cheapest venue, but service, food and wine are top notch. Looking forward to my next visit!

                                                                                                          Swift and Sons signature cocktails were excellent and there were some very good wines by the bottle that were available at very reasonable prices. The food was delicious, particularly the Hiramasa Crudo appetizer and the beef Wellington. The service was outstanding. If you are over 50, you will need glasses and a flashlight to read the menu. :-)
