   It was the perfect setting to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. Her younger sister, who is 9 and a typical fussy eater, was able to enjoy the occasion with her “kids afternoon tea” which offered a selections of child-friendly sandwiches and cakes. My older two teenagers loved their afternoon teas and we all left well fed, as well as food to take home in a box. For me, I was disappointed that being a “vegetarian” caused such an issue that they couldn’t meet our needs at the last minute and we were stuck with some meat choices, although I’m sure I’d included this in the first communication with the restaurant. The food was nice but nothing seemed particularly fresh or particularly delicious. However, the children were happy, we got some pretty photos and it was generally a nice thing to do. Will I go again? Probably not.

   We had a lovely afternoon tea here today. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The vegan cream tea was brilliant - I’m not sure I could have spotted the difference between mine and the regular scones and cream. Very yummy. And I actually thought my deserts looked better than the regular ones! The kids one was great value. There was a lot of food, so we came away with a box of cakes. Overall a very pleasant experience.

   Ordered the day before and asked not to have ham and mustard sandwiches for both people. Ham and mustard were on both plates. Although one cheese and cucumber sandwich was offered. Could definitely do with having a spoon and knife for jam and cream. Possibly a fork for eating cakes.

   Great location and pretty decor. Service was good otherwise. Relaxed atmosphere, great for kids. We had to wait for our table despite having booked. Cakes were a bit stale but overall ok.

   Absolutely lovely place and food was exquisite. You could see how popular the place was because of the que. My daughter knew this place from living in Bath so it came with good reviews. I treated my sister to a birthday afternoon tea. We had to take some home in a box. My sister eats gluten free and hers was just as nice as mine. Can’t wait to go back.

   The food was lovely and the staff were inviting and helpful. Only fault was how busy it was we only had one round of drinks for our afternoon tea and was disappointed by the lack of attention due to the demand of staff downstairs. The food was lovely and would return for the bakery but the afternoon tea I wouldn’t go again for the price it is.

   Had my baby shower here and had the room just for us which was lovely and allowed people to relax a little more. Staff were great at checking in on us for drinks and making sure we were all happy. Lovely venue and we all had a really lovely time.
