   Amazing food. It exceeded our expectations. We almost skipped dessert and are so glad we didn’t. The lemon basil sorbet was DELICIOUS. we also got the cherry bomb and hazelnut pudding cake which were a 10/10 too. Will absolutely be coming back every time we visit vail

   Lovely restaurant. And great ambiance. Ordered 2 roasted duck dishes. Very tasty, but very small for the price. One order of the pork dish, very tough meat. Not enjoyable at all. Probably the toughest meat I’ve eaten in a restaurant for the price tag. Steak tartar was amazing. French onion lasagna was so good. And we ended the evening with the cherry bomb dessert - decadent.

   Waitress tried to take our order within 5 min of sitting down and 3 more times before we ordered wine. Also appetizer was 11/10 (least order potato one) but my lamb chops were not that tender and just 7/10. Disappointed as I had a great meal at this restaurant a few years ago. What was nice is ambiance, well spaced tables, low noise level.

   Five of us, and everyone’s food came out cold. Taste was great. But for sweet Basil, and the price this shouldn’t happen.

   We have been dining at this restaurant for over 20 years, but unfortunately, the past few visits have been well below average. Still, given its history—including a Michelin star—we wanted to give it one last chance while celebrating my father’s and husband’s birthdays. Big mistake. Three strikes, and they’re out. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had—not just in Vail, but anywhere. The food was shockingly bad. The lamb was overcooked, with more than half of the medallions consisting of pure fat. Service was equally terrible. Our server showed no interest in addressing our concerns when we mentioned the food quality—just silently took the plates away. Another server, when taking our dessert order, casually said, “Well, that’s too bad,” and that was the extent of their concern. No manager ever came to check in. It took over an hour just to receive a cocktail. And the service? We’ve received better hospitality at fast food restaurants. Our waitress was not only impersonal but outright rude. For a restaurant that once held a Michelin star, this experience was unacceptable. We will never be returning, and we strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

    Everything was a hit! Not one miss or regret. The sea bass and yellowtail were definitely stars of the show. The drinks were incredible. Highly recommend!
