   Excellent ambiance with phenomenal food. Jacob did a great job waiting on us. Best food at the Stanford shopping center.

   Our server Jose and managers Mark and Jacob were very good but the kitchen seemed overwhelmed and disorganized so we unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Food was very slow to arrive with very long waits between dishes. We sat down at 5:30pm on a Saturday and within the hour It was very busy so clearly a popular place. Jose, Mark and Jacob all were very attentive and did their best to make up for the very slow kitchen service. Apparently there was a lot of recent turnover in the kitchen (post inauguration). We may give it another try but will be cautious about timing.

   Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The host was great and super friendly, the barista was super knowledgeable and our server was awesome. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back for more.

   D It was great but a little pricy and a bit noisy. I couldn’t tell if you had music but if you did, it’s not needed!

   They have a good variety of food, not just sushi/sashimi/rolls. They have a good selection of appetizers, some yakitori skewers and other Japanese dishes; must try the sizzling Wagyu and Miso glazed Seabass. Service was consistently very good. And the food pacing was on point. A great choice in the Stanford shopping center.

    Reception lady wasn’t nice. Food was average and too expensive. My server was good. My table was in the middle of everything, hence too noise and busy. My guest and I had to talk loud to hear each other.
