   Nothing bad to say about this spot. Service on point, ambiance 10/10 and the food by far the best i had in LA. Absolutely the to go spot.

   I went to Sushi Palace with my wife on Valentine's Day. It was very busy that day, which is understandable. The food was so good that we decided to go there again today in the hope that it would be less busy. It is one of the best restaurants I have visited. And the price is very reasonable for the quality and the food

   Not the experience we were hoping to have after reading so many raving reviews. The food and specially the service were subpar. Maybe we just came on a bad night but we definitely won’t be coming back.

   We got there BEFORE our reservation even started, when we were seated 15 after, we waited 30 minutes to get our order taken, then ANOTHER 45 minutes to even get service. After, we finally got a hold of the hostess, where we just cancelled our plans because we were sitting at a table for over an hour with no food. She didn't even care to explain the issue and just excused us from the restaurant.

   Not the greatest experience. I booked a table for 2 for Valentine’s Day a month in advance and the host tried seating us at the bar. She was kind enough to move us to a table when I spoke up though. As I was looking for parking, my fiancé asked staff where i can park, and we were told to park in neighborhood not too far off, however I noticed a valet parking sign AFTER I had already spent time searching and parking in a nearby neighborhood. Could have saved me a headache. The food running staff must have been new as our dish came to our table, left our table, and came back because the employee was unsure of where our food belonged. Not a big deal. Our waiter didn’t really check on us at all but it was Valentine’s Day so I understand he could have been busy. It wasn’t a bad experience overall, but not that great either. The food tasted really good, but everything from the parking, to getting a table (instead of the bar), to getting an extra item removed from my bill just made the whole night feel like more work than I was in the mood to do.

   I wish I could give this place zero stars because The service was god awful and honestly over priced. I took my wife expecting a fine dining evening and I got the complete opposite. We arrived at 5:30pm and didn’t leave until after 8pm because service was so terrible and slow. The waitress seen pre-occupied with other tables and provided them a better service. I ordered off of the special Valentine’s Day menu but in between each “tasting dish” it took over 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The waitress also got our entree orders wrong but me and my wife were already too upset with the service here, we just ate it. I honestly wish I could get refunded because what I paid for and the services that were provided were not up to par.

   Cute spot for a happy hour date. Drinks were great, food was tasty and loved the ambience. We will definitely be back.

   THE BEST SUSHI HAPPY HOUR IN LA! After lots of research I decided on Sushi Palace as the spot to take my sushi-loving hubby out for his surprise bday dinner. I was apprehensive to try a new place especially for a special occasion like this with a guy who knows and LOVES his sushi. We also live in NoHo so driving to Melrose on a school night was a bit of a commitment. We were both SO glad we made the trek! It’s a total unassuming gem of a place and we had the best time. The menu is super unique with stellar signature rolls and OMG the truffle butter edamame is a must as is the bathtub fizz. And if you’re on a budget, order from happy hour menu until 8!
