   We always love our meal here. This time, the service was wanting. We asked to start with ceviche and edamame but the edamame came after our rolls. We also would have appreciated refills on our water.

   Sushi Nikkei is amazing! Super fresh ingredients and a perfect mix of Japanese and Peruvian flavors. Every bite was delicious and unique. Can’t wait to go back!

   The food is awesome. Especially my dad is a tough critic when it comes to Peruvian food because he is born and raised in Peru. My only complaint, and it is minor, is the service can be more efficient. It’s not a reflection on the kindness and caring that the staff displays its more timing. We just feel that we’re not being checked on regularly. It just take a little too long getting food and drinks.

   Unbelievably yummy sushi, best I’ve ever had. When the first serving of rolls & sushimi came out, all five of us thought they couldn’t be better. But every serving just became more flavorful and tasty! Highly recommend. We were at the Long Beach location, not the Bixby Knolls location.

   The food, the presentation, the service was outstanding!!! So tasty brings back the flavors of Peru!! Only thing a little annoying was the wobbly table other than that everything was amazing.

   Food came out in a weird order which kind of threw us off (sushi, then starters and apps) We frequent the Belmont shore location and the vibes were very different. Servers here were quiet / a bit standoffish and we had to keep asking for refills on basics like ginger and water.

    Everything was delicious so many different flavors! Certainly above and beyond your average sushi restaurant. Go on Tues and Wednesday when it is easier to get a table.
