You can’t beat the view on a clear day. The last time we had A Sunset dinner it was very smoky and you couldn’t see a thing. The cocktails/bar was great, we got drinks and went outside to wait for our table. Dinner was good. The amuse bouche was delicious, seared tuna, I wish that was offered as an entre. We ordered a crab cake and two radicchio Caesar Salads. The crab cake was delicious, full of crab and the salad was tasty. For our entres we had the surf and turf ribs and shrimp, the rib eye and the halibut. The rib eye was very good. The ribs were tasty but the shrimp were blah. The fish came out cold like it had been sitting awhile. All in all we were there for the beautiful view and the sunset. The food was ok, drinks and service were excellent.

View is amazing, especially at sunset. Ribeye entree was excellent, but fish entrees were not (halibut overcooked, salmon undercooked). The menu is prix-fixe but they were out of several popular menu items, including mocktails, kid's menu choices and dessert. Space is like a cafeteria, with overly bright lights. Nice try with white tablecloths. Service was ok, but new server needs to work on time and attention management. Pricey given menu limitations, poor preparation on some entrees, fair ambience and inexperienced server.

We had a great time! Food was excellent (we had halibut and crab cakes). Service was great too....friendly and efficient. And the weather and views were outstanding! The chair ride is always a lot of fun.....especially the ride down, which we usually don't see in the winter!

The location is great and we were very lucky to have a beautiful sunset. The prix fixe menu is a bit expensive, but made sense for a high-end restaurant experience. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment for some of us at our table and the mirrors at the back of the restaurant reflected the setting sun at an inescapable angle so that two of the people at the table were shifting and squinting for over two hours despite requesting the lowering of shades. Back to the food - the main course I was really excited about was the ribeye steak, and it would have made the cost of the meal worth it for me. But because it was a Sunday (the last day of their work week), they just let stuff run out until the next week’s replenishment. There are only a handful of mains so effectively 20% of their offerings were not available. For desserts, the German Chocolate cake (gluten-free) was a tasteless, dense disaster. I went there with such high hopes - especially given prior reviews, but was deeply disappointed!

Fabulous in all aspects. The ride up the mountain was unforgettable! We enjoyed a drink in the bar before being seated at our window table. Our server was friendly and helpful. The courses came on time and each was excellent. The presentation was extra special. We walked the outside deck before and after dinner to enjoy the full views. Our ride down the chairlift was breathtaking as you literally have a 270 degree view of Central Oregon.
