Chef Stacé of Sunflower Café is keeping the tastes of France in Bayport, serving authentic French Cuisine with fragrant and farm fresh ingredients. Enjoy an absolutely delicious selection of French classics like Moules Frites, Clams Casino, French Onion Soup, and our signature homemade Quiches.     To be honest , we wanted to love Sunflower cafe because we love France . We usually try a restaurant for lunch first to see if it’s worth a dinner trip …..sadly we don’t see ourselves returning for dinner . Waitress was alone and working well by herself - but it wasn’t terribly busy . French onion soup was good , not the best we have had but just good - light and flavorful, cheesy , hot , but the bread on it was just so “white” it felt like it could’ve choked you . Croque monsieur was terrible - no imagination at all , it was an inside out ham and cheese sandwich , not really at all resembling the real deal . Quiche Lorraine - nice size portion but was dry , crust too thick and the ham was tasty albeit so big , it took away from what the quiche should taste like . But- those French fries were money ! We skipped dessert because who wants pre-cut pies and cakes from sad showcase- you eat first with your eyes , mine said “dry” . Such a nice atmosphere , cute bar , clean and bright , but not at all what we expected !

    Excellent food and service. Generous portions and nice cocktails. Beautiful ambiance. The chef/owner stopped at the table to welcome us and introduce herself. It’s our new favorite place!

    This was our first time at Sunflower Cafe and won’t be our last. We went for Brunch. The quiche was one of best I have ever had. Highly recommend. Reservations are a must as place is small

    This was our second visit for lunch and it was wonderful! We took our granddaughter here for lunch before she headed back to school in Florida. We all had the onion soup which was great. Service was excellent. We will be back
