   I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The biggest issue was the food. We ordered about ten different dishes, and not a single one stood out. Everything was bland, uninspired, and completely forgettable. For the price, I expected so much more—at best, it felt like an overpriced PF Chang’s, and I'd say PF Chang's food is better (although it's been several years since I've been to one). Service was another letdown. Our waitress was incredibly kind and we really liked her, but she seemed to be handling the entire restaurant on her own. Meanwhile, the food runners were indifferent and kind of rude—they wouldn’t acknowledge us when dropping off plates, and they didn’t bother clearing dirty dishes before plopping new ones down. It felt chaotic and very understaffed. The wait times were unacceptable. It took over 15 minutes just to be greeted after being seated, and at the end of the meal, we were interested in dessert but gave up after waiting another 15 minutes for someone to take our order. On top of everything, the ambiance didn’t help. The music was loud so it was hard to have a conversation and there are no soft materials in the place to absorb the sound. Overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and inefficiently run. With so many great dining options around, I wouldn’t bother.

   The food was fantastic, loved the shared plates and trying a little bit of everything. Our server M was helpful with recommendations and gave 10/10 service. Hope to be back soon!!

   Cocktails were good, and the ambience was great. The food left something to be desired I'd prefer to go elsewhere for the main course.

   Nice experience overall but some of the dishes we ordered were very salty. Drinks were delicious!

   Carlos did an excellent job offering suggestions and making our experience unique and special. Great ambiance, food and service. We especially enjoyed the wagyu crispy rice and the dragon roll. We will be coming back soon!

   We came for a valentines date. The service was top notch our waitress was very kind and explained the menu to us from top to bottom. We tried some sushi which was delicious and the main entrees were very tasty. I had the scallops and they were delicious as well. My wife had the chicken. Overall we would come back for another special occasion date night.

   Great experience even though it was for Valentines Day and was busy they were very attentive and food was great! Will be back again.

   Sunda New Asian in Chicago exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic, but the highlight of our visit was our server, Emilin. Her attentive and friendly service made the experience unforgettable. She truly made us want to come back very soon. Highly recommend!

    10/10 date night. Nathan made our Valentine’s dinner so special! We enjoyed the prefix menu as well as a la carte items based on his recommendations. Everything picked out was delicious and refreshing. The cocktails were soooo good and a unique menu. We will for sure be back!!
