Today high above the hustle and bustle of North Orange County, like a crown on the hilltop, you will find built in the tradition of an English country manor the stately Summit House Restaurant.
The Summit House, renowned for its magnificent panoramic views and old-world charm, is famous for the amazing flavors and incredible food presentations created by Executive Chef Timothy Plumb’s culinary team. Highlights include our world-famous Stockyards of Chicago Roast Prime Ribs of Beef, “melt-in-your-mouth” oak wood grilled USDA prime steaks, our thirty-year favorite sautéed John Dory, locally grown vegetables hand-picked from neighboring Back Sheep Farms, and of course our famous creamed corn au gratin.
Whether it be an intimate get together for two or two hundred of your closest friends, come to the “Top of the Hill”, the Summit House Restaurant, "Your Special Occasion Place".

    Prime rib was not as juicy and flavorful as I remembered. Disappointed because I invited friends for Friedsgiving and they said the same. Also got charged $9 for split charge with my husband and food was not split up upon arriving. Policy change? How about some decent commodity since I have to do the work to split our food. Again dissapointed because I come here every year and tonight was not it. Will think about coming next time.

    The view is good. We sat outside. But the food gets cold faster than we can enjoy it. The turkey is a bit dry. It’s a thanksgiving dinner. We also ordered medium rare prime ribs but it’s too rare and the inside close to the bone area is too raw! The deserts are good. The service is great. The ambience is nice and quiet, maybe it’s because we were sitting outside around 8 pm. It’s on the expensive side overall.
