   The bar and table service was above and beyond but the hostess left something to be desired. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 7:00 reservation so we waited in the bar area. At 7:15 we checked in the status with the hostess and she said the table was being cleared. 15 minutes later we checked again and she said service wouldn’t be guaranteed because she called us twice and we didn’t respond. Meanwhile she did come into the bar area to call other guests.

   First, let me say that I have eaten at Sullivan's a few times and was pleased with their food as well as the experience. I am doing this review to comment on their Thanksgiving 2024 offerings only. All three of us were underwhelmed by the food. They served, basically, turkey with all the trimmings, which was fine...it's what I signed up for...but everyone's dinner was lukewarm and just okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out, either. Even the dessert...I chose the cheesecake with a pumpkin spice sauce...was iffy. It was very bland, even for cheesecake, and I decided it just wasn't worth the calories. Again, I have had steak at Sullivan's and remembered it as very good, although to be fair that was a few years ago. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but regardless, I wouldn't recommend eating any pre-fixe type meal at Sullivan's. I know I won't.

   Food was excellent. White turkey was exceptionally tender and juicy. Service was steller. Priced better then most restaurants for Thanksgiving. Will go again next year.

   We recently moved to Tucson (like a week ago) and rather than try to cook a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving, we opted for making reservations. The reviews for Sullivan’s were good, so we made a reservation for late afternoon (3:30 pm). We had a cocktail in the bar before dinner (very well stocked and friendly staff) and selected the Thanksgiving holiday meal. The appetizer course came quickly and after twenty minutes or so a food runner brought our dessert. The waiter, Bruce, quickly whisked them back to the kitchen. After another twenty minutes or so, after seeing tables who arrived after us being served entrees, I asked Bruce if dinner would be coming soon. He condescendingly said “we have four dining rooms full of people so the kitchen is a bit busy right now but I submitted your order as soon as the appetizers were brought out”. Luckily, he must have mentioned it to Matthew, the manager on duty that day. Matthew arrived and said there had been a computer issue and our dinners had been affected (so, it wasn’t just the busy day that had caused the delay, Bruce). Matthew made us feel welcome at Sullivan’s and saved the experience for us. For the rest of the meal, Bruce was even chillier than before. He was clearly not having a good day but Matthew was. Matthew is why I’m giving a five Star rating and while we will be back for steaks next month.

   Overall a good choice for a pre fixe meal on a major holiday. We had reservations and were seated quickly. Service was relatively attentive and friendly. Cocktails were excellent, although I was innocently brought the wrong drink. (Moscow mule vs. Mezcal mule). Food was served a bit slowly, but the server made sure we weren’t starving by serving us a charcuterie/ cheese plate. Unfortunately that plate was somewhat stale as though it was uncovered in a cooler overnight. (Damp crackers and dried out cheese). Most of the food was tasty, portions generous. Between my partner and I, we were able to sample most of the course offerings. The turkey breast was surprisingly moist and most sides tasty—the sweet potato casserole, sausage stuffing and asparagus being the winners. I would say this is an excellent place for high quality cocktails and would return to try the steak, which is in all fairness, the meal to judge this place by.

   Everything was perfect about this dinner!!! We had “the best” server in Luis. He was so attentive, friendly, accurate and quick. We’ve never had a better server!! Thank you Luis and btw, the food and drinks were amazing!!! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

   Biggest complaint is that after waiting 30 mins between starter and entree the potatoes, dressing, and sweet potatoes were cold

   Five of us had dinner around noon on a very busy holiday. Considering the day and how busy it was it was very good. The food quality was mixed the noise was very high and the service was pretty spotty. But we enjoyed ourselves and had a good time overall. Will have to return on a normal day to really evaluate.

    My husband and I chose Sullivan's for his birthday dinner. Overall, everything was great! Our server was attentive, helpful and kind. My husband said that his steak was a bit too grisley but tasty. My Lobster Bisque soup was excellent! The birthday "boy" got to choose a dessert "on-the-house," which was also yummy. It just took WAY too long for it to arrive! That is the only complaint. Very nice restaurant but definitly on the high end price wise!
