   While the food was good, a dinner for two took 3 hours, our waiter, when he came to the table was very nice, but it was very slow. We sat at the table for about 20-25 minutes with no water. The soup we ordered came out relatively quickly, but the main course took a long time. When our steaks came out my husbands was cold, and for some reason the butterflied mine so they both had to go back to be redone. For 2 soups, 2 steaks one side dish and 1 drink each our meal was $226. That is outrageous!

   Now we have kept in mind that it was New Year’s Eve so understandingly very busy. However, for a premium steakhouse service it all started at the hostess stand which was less than a good experience. In fact, they were rude to multiple guests including myself until I pointed out how rude they were treating people coming up and checking on their table since they seemed to be running 25-35 minutes past the reserved time. After being seated 35 minutes past our reserve table time we were greeted by a very nice waiter that was doing his best under the circumstances clearly there were more tables than they could properly serve but he did a decent job of doing so when we finally ordered dinner about three minutes after he came back to the table and stated that they were out of everything that three of the five of us wanted.  OK, we get it it can happen it’s a busy evening however hearing him and two other waiters talking they noted the kitchen never instructed them that they were out of these items so major fail on that end because we weren’t the only table ordering. After the food arrived everyone’s meals were were good. However my $70 steak arrived completely overdone and was sent back to the kitchen. Now that happens from time to time as well but not in a steakhouse of this caliber when my steak finally arrived to the table my entire party was done with their dinner so I got to take my $70 steak home in a box. The waiter apologized several times, yet no one from the management staff ever came by the table to apologize or to see if there was anything that they could do considering I was taking home a $70 steak home in a to go box. Our server was the only positive presence in this scenario. And while we’ve dined here in the past I am going to have to think about whether or not I’m going to spend several hundred dollars on a meal at this steakhouse or one of the other dozen or so fantastic steakhouses around the city.

   The quality of service was horrible, not just bad. We ordered a Tomahawk steak it it was just plopped down with zero presentation. We had to send back one of the filets for being burnt (was ordered MR) and the second one came back very medium. Most of the dinner was spent with empty wine glasses (we did not get wine) just sitting in front of the kids and empty plates and glasses (slow on refills) cluttered the table. This was our first visit. It does not come even close to comparison of our experiences at other nearby steakhouses.

   Sullivan’s is always a great experience. We had a couple minor food issues but they were immediately fixed. Service from D.W. was absolutely terrific! We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our daughters birthday truly special

   Sullivan’s stood out for my in-laws to celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary. I made the reservations and noted it was for an anniversary but o did not request anything special. They went above and beyond!! They decorated the table with rose petals, a card and free dessert for the couple. The food and service were incredible. They were over the moon! Thank you, Sullivan’s!! We will be back!

   This is my first time at Sullivans. The atmosphere and the service was phenomenal. Virgil is an amazing waiter. I was not blown away by the food quality itself for the price. I’m a little bit picky when it comes to steak flavor and how it’s cooked. I’ve been recommended here by multiple people. The appetizers were great, the drinks were good. A little bit higher priced for a cocktail. I will be back to give it another chance

   Christmas dinner was RUINED HERE! The wait was unacceptable! Over 2 hrs to get our Appetizers!! Had to ask for a Manager, who never came to our table, ended up speaking with Host. We ended up getting our meal packed up and carried it out. BUT to our surprise, we came home to find our meal was Not Only WRONG, BUT tasted BELOW AVERAGE at best!! Just a waste of time and money!!!

    Will not do Christmas dinner there ever again. The two of us were there for hours. The restaurant lobby was packed with people the entire time we were there. We arrived slightly early for our 6:30 reservation and weren't seated until well after 7:00. Our obviously stressed out server did her best but the restaurant was just overwhelmed. It took forever to get anything, and the restaurant was incredibly loud. When our food finally arrived (after 8:00), we ate it as quickly as we could because we were so ready to get out of there. The food was good but we didn't particularly enjoy it. Cooking at home as usual next Christmas.
