Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Sugar Factory American Brasserie in Atlanta offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere, perfect for celebrations. While guests rave about the "fantastic food and amazing drinks," service can be hit or miss. It's a family-friendly spot, though some patrons noted a lack of air conditioning and menu item availability. The ambiance is ideal for birthday celebrations, but be prepared for potential wait times.

The food was very pricey which was expected but the food wasn’t good at all, we literally only ate a few bites of our food, the Cookie Monster milkshake was delicious though!

I was very disappointed in my experience. A friend recommended The Sugar Factory to me and was raving about it so I was super excited to take my girls for our annual Christmas dinner. However, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant it was a bad experience. We waited for about 15-20 minutes for anyone to show up at the hostess stand. I had to go and find the manager to get someone to help seat us. Our server was good but the food was sub par and definitely wasn’t worth the prices that we paid for it. All in all I was excited to come but completely let down when I did. I would not return or recommend to anyone else.

The service was incredibly slow. It took 30 minutes for us to get our drinks and the restaurant was only moderately busy. When the food arrived, the fries were cold. The kids loved the desserts though.

Completely mid. So overpriced, especially for the portion sizes. Would not recommend to anyone.

THIS WAS THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD. I NEVER leave reviews but I’m appalled by what just happened to our family on my daughter’s birthday, no less. We had a 1pm reservation at the Atlanta location, the restaurant was NOT busy, and our food didn’t come out until 2:30pm. They were out of almost everything we requested: the Sesame Ginger Salad is no longer offered and they were out of Salmon altogether. We did not order appetizers and placed our entree orders by 1:15pm. We had a 3pm show to attend, at 2pm I let the server know that we needed to leave by 2:30pm because half of our entrees had not been served yet. We came for my daughter’s birthday- they don’t bring out the monster sundae and do the birthday song until we were paying the bill at 2:45pm. We left it sitting on the table and were charged full price for the sundae even though she couldn’t eat it because we had another engagement at GT that began at 3pm. The manager refused to take it off of our bill. We paid $355 dollars for 3 people and had no alcohol! We had 1 loaded fry as an appetizer, I had a lettuce wrapped turkey burger, my daughter had the house salad with steak added, and my husband had a bacon cheese burger with onion rings (the onion rings came out as the server was telling us our total.) The food is nothing to write home about, the service is awful. Such a huge disappointment.

We enjoyed the entertainment. The food was not worth the price. We had to send multiple items back because was it’s not right. The manager tried to charge us for item we sent back and had not been touch. Our waitress was okay but could have check on us more.

Unfortunately we reserved a table, waited about 45 minutes to get seated and just decided to leave. We’ll try another location one day

My food came after everyone in my party ate. They couldn’t accommodate us with our appetizer which was just a Cesar salad. But it was for my daughters’ bday so I didn’t want to ruin her bday, but I thought the manager could have been more accommodating due to all the food issues we experienced.
