The welcome was excellent. The front of house gentleman had read our request for a quieter corner due to our partial deafness and had selected a corner for us but offered us a very secluded corner as a better option. The service was impeccable and friendly from start to finish. The staff were well chosen and properly trained. Our servers were smiling and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent and the portions were well judged and appropriate. We have suffered some recent bad experiences with restaurants thinking they were providing a fine dining experience and Suesey Street reminded us that such restaurants still exist. It is not cheap but delivers at every level. We will be back.

Lamb drenched in garlic and served lukewarm. Our waiter omitted to mention the specials, starter was a mediocre prawn risotto. We had dined here before on a few occasions but he standard seems to have markedly slipped

Dinner was delicious and eat out on the back heated patio. Lamb chops with hot pot. My wife had halibut special.

It was a Tuesday evening and the main restaurant was quiet (the annex had a group in it but we preferred the main restaurant). Initially I was concerned that as it was quiet we might be rushed out as we were the last table that evening but not at all. The (Italian) maitre d was warm and welcoming and happily served us cocktails. The (Brazilian) waitress was charming and professional. The food was fabulous - the Dublin Bay Prawns were cooked perfectly, as was the hake. One of us had the duck and another the lamb and all were full of praise for the chef. While it is certainly not cheap it was value for money given the quality of the ingredients and expertise of the chef and staff. I have paid a lot more in Dublin for a lot less. I will be returning soon.

Fantastic experience at Suesey Street from the warm welcome to the fabulous staff, not a thing out of place and the Cod main would be worth walking over hot coals.
