A bit hard to find if you don't know Petaluma. In the LAN MART building, an old 2-storey stucco with 3 prominent arches in front, red tile Spanish-style overhang on the top level above 4 large windows. The restaurant is accessed thru a small front door to the LAN MART bldg, down the old red tiled walkway towards the back & on the left. Tiny: 4 two-tops, one 4-top, & 2 barstool seats at the front facing the walkway. There are also 4 two-tops out in the walkway. Up a small staircase inside is a loft area with seating for 6 or so. Inside is cute with tiny strands of bistro lights & a large open window to the kitchen. We had: Escargot with smoked anchovy & chili pepper. Comes with 5 escargot, swimming in chili pepper sauce, slice of lemon & a nice roll to sop up the butter. A bit on the spicey side. (I would have preferred that it be served with 2 escargot forks--rather than one--so we didn't have to go back & forth on using the utensil. I also prefer to have escargot tongs to hold the shells.) Having the lemon on the side (not in the sauce) would be a better to keep your fingers from being covered with butter. Overall the flavor was good. Asparagus frites with Parmesan espuma & a small salad of herbs/greens. I really loved these. Asparagus was coated with a tasty, well-seasoned tempura-type batter that was crisp & flakey & was perfectly cooked. The small salad was good & the dressing tasty, but this was over-salted--not sure if it was the dressing that was too salty, or if salt had been sprinkled onto the greens. Chicken Leg Confit with leeks & olives. This was good & could have been great, but too salty. Not sure if it came from the saltiness of the olives, or from salt added to the sauce, but it was just too heavy handed. The chicken was cooked perfectly, but too much salt & the overpowering dill fronds in the sauce just threw things off. Teres Major with spinach dip & croquettes -- perfectly cooked steak, and croquettes were all good.

Really nice setting and creative food. However that also means a small menu so it was disappointing to find several dishes sold out when we arrived for a 7:30 dinner on a Fri night.

Street Social is the kind of place that you want to rush out and tell everyone you know how awesome it is, but at the same time kind of want to keep to yourself because it’s so small and special and amazing. The food is spectacular - you don’t really recognize anything on the menu but it doesn’t matter because it’s all imaginative, creative, unusual and delicious. Order anything, you can’t go wrong! Friendly service and the tiny space makes it feel like you are eating in someone’s dining room. And then go tell your friends! Or on second thoughts, keep it to yourself. A hidden gem.

Incredible dining experience. Cozy intimate atmosphere, wonderful service, and the food is like nothing I’ve had before - exciting combinations of new flavors and classic favorites. The shrimp bisque and duck confit really stood out this time. I can’t recommend Street Social enough!

We love Street Social and it has become our special date night go-to. We love that the restaurant is so small and intimate; it feels like a secret hideaway, tucked away down the alley. The service is warm, knowledgeable, and thoughtful, and the wine list is small and well curated. Their dishes are very elevated comfort food, with complex flavors and usually an unexpected, playful element. Two particular standouts on this last visit: the potato churros--crispy outside, with the creamiest of insides, and mussels with chorizo, with a gorgeous creamy broth kicked up a notch by the rich, spicy bit of chorizo. Oh, and the warm cardamom cake with black sesame was a perfect ending; I'm a fan of desserts that aren't extremely sweet and bring in interesting flavors, like the sesame. Just another terrific experience!
