   I have eaten at Stonewood with my mom on Christmas Eve for about 8 years now. We have always had either a good or an excellent experience there on Christmas Eve. Tonight was not good and certainly not excellent. They couldn’t seat us at our reservation time and they said there were five reservations in front of us so we took a table at the bar. It was a while before anyone greeted us, it was extremely loud and the server who waited on us is usually excellent, but she was so swamped and could not tend to us as she has in the past. The appetizer we ordered actually came out quickly and it was delicious, but our food took an extremely long time. When we finally got our dinner (about 50 minutes after being seated, the chicken breast on my salad was not cooked. It was very obviously raw on the inside when I cut it. No one ever came to check on us to see how our food was so I finally had to go to the hostess stand and ask them to get someone to help me. They offered to make me a new salad, but I was not given any sort of discount or compensation for an under cooked chicken breast and basically no dinner till after my mom was done. Since my mom was already done with her meal I just had them make mine to go. I didn’t expect to have an entirely free meal, but I do think that they should’ve comped my salad.. It was Christmas Eve and they were busy so I didn’t even ask but I shouldn’t have had to. I still gave the server a 30% tip since I knew it wasn’t her fault that she was probably given too many tables or that the chicken breast was raw. Not sure we will be going back there next Christmas Eve or at all for that matter. Very disappointing.

   We were greeted by the checkin hostess. Our waiter was friendly and personable. The food we had was delicious and promptly served.

   Great Christmas Eve dinner, which has become a tradition for us now with just the 2 of us in the area. Busy restaurant but service was great and the food excellent and hot.

   Excellent dinners!! The holiday spirit of Christmas was in full force with the decor and the vibe. Appetizers, drinks and dinners were all excellent. Service was very good.

   We arrived last night on 12/21 and had reservations for 4. We were seated at 7:05 and for almost 30 minutes no one came to our table. We love Stonewood and will be back and it was very busy. It would have been acceptable if someone would have at least said we are running behind tonight but at least took our drink order. No one ever came to the table. We left.

   This was my first time dining here. All I can say that it was an enjoyable experience. My pork chop entree (Peach Bourbon pork chop) was out of this world. Very tasty. The service was attentive and made excellent suggestions. It is well worth a trip.
