   Lunch special is a great option…good pub type choices and crème brûlée is super! Been there twice in 10 days…consistent.

   Sadly disappointed, after bringing my parents for their first visit to STMR. Waited far too long for food.

   Really nice place. Server was prompt. Food was very good. I had the pit chicken and my significant other the pit pulled pork. Both meats were good. Chicken could have been hotter. I asked for a side of sauce. That also could have been not chilled. Asparagus was amazing, the signature pickles were below expectation, fries were good, mac and cheese was very good. Bathrooms were a little far. I am from Vancouver BC and that being a world class city I often find restaurants in my new home of NB to be underwhelming. This was not the case here. Quality place through and through. We will return.

   Our main course was served luke warm, and my steak was over cooked. It was a busy night in the restaurant, but we felt the restaurant did not have enough servers on staff to handle the volume of customers.. We raised this with the manager and he was fantastic and did his best to make it right. Not sure we’d go back again anytime soon,

   The food was not what we’re used to. The food is usually good but it was cold and over cooked. Too expensive for what we got and second time in a row.

   We reserved a table and was asked two questions, first what type of table high or normal, we chose normal as high tables are at times too difficult to get on and off as we both suffer from back pain, second question was was there a special occasion for our evening, yes a Birthday. We arrived about 10 minutes before our timing and were quickly looked after, they sat us at a high table where we struggled to get up into the chairs, secondly when the bill came after we shared a dessert and only after we paid our bill we were notified that the waitress could give us back money for our dessert as it was a birthday celebration. The food was amazing, the service was excellent other than not getting the table we were expecting, however the noise levels were extremely annoying, as we had a very hard time having a conversation, we been there 3 times now and each time the noise levels are horrible…must be the room itself. Anyway we do love the food and the staff but can’t take the noise.

    If you are into smoked/BBQ meat, I would recommend STMR. 36. I was not too crazy about the smoked squash, though.
