STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

We had a reservation, and our table opened right on time. Waitress was lovely and kind. Food was great. Drinks were great. Super packed and very loud, but we were never rushed. Very chill.

Our dinner at Stir was outstanding!!! Our server, Addie, was wonderful throughout our visit. From the oyster appetizers, salad and entrees, the food was perfectly prepared, presented and delicious. A Five Star evening in every way.

Food was great. Atmosphere was noisy and crowded.. waitresses was very polite and knowledgeable of menu. Kitchen staff delivered our app in a very nonchalant way, set on other side of table, instead of walking it around to us. Cocktails were delicious, but ranged from very strong, to couldn’t taste the alcohol. Overall was a great experience and worth the price..

Our server, Avery, was awesome, knowledgeable and attentive. The charbroiled oysters and blackened fish tacos were very good. I ordered the filet with the got cheese ravioli which was served with a pat of butter on top of the filet. The butter wouldn't melt. I touched the filet and it it wasn't even warm, neither was the ravioli. The manager was nearby and I asked him if the entree could be heated up. He was very nice and said he'd take care of it. He returned the plate, told me they cooked a new filet and was serving a fresh plate. Same thing, the food was room temperature. I went ahead and ate some of it. The food was good and I'm sure it would have been stellar if it had been hot. My husband had the steak frites and he said it was hot and tasted okay. I just didn't feel like I received much value upon receiving a less than warm entree.
