The Ghost Light Inn’s restaurant, Stella, is inspired by local ingredients from the region’s best farmers and artisans. The restaurant offers 100 seats with indoor and outdoor tables, and private dining spaces for events and gatherings. The outdoor patio displays sweeping views of the Delaware River. The main dining room offers a mix of freestanding tables and booths. During the winter months, reservations for outdoor tables are not available. However, you are more than welcome to make a note in your reservation that you would like to sit outside. The patio is heated.
Parking in New Hope can be hard to come by. The parking lot located in front of Stella is owned and operated by the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella cannot validate parking. When valet is present the cost to park is $30. We booked the fixed-price New Year’s Eve menu, advertised at $165 per person, which was supposed to include both food and entertainment. The entertainment, which we were really looking forward to and was advertised to be included in the price, lasted only about 15 minutes of our time there so we essentially didn’t receive the entertainment. The pacing of the courses was extremely rushed—we finished the entire dinner in under an hour, despite the reservation stating we should have the table for two hours. Our server brought the check immediately after we finished dessert, which arrived less than an hour after we sat down. We were left wondering what we were supposed to do for the remaining time at the table. As for the food, it was disappointing for the price. The short rib felt like something that could easily be prepared at home in a slow cooker. For $165 per person (excluding drinks, tax, and gratuity), a filet would have been a more appropriate offering. To add to the frustration, the valet parking was full, and with heavy rain, we had to find alternative parking and walk to the restaurant—an added inconvenience to an already disappointing evening. Part of the reason we chose Stella is because we knew that they had Valet parking on site. Overall, the experience did not match the price or the expectations set by the promotional details. We left feeling that we did not receive even close to the value we paid. For the same price, we could have had a much more enjoyable evening at a hotel or a higher-quality dining experience elsewhere.

Went to see show at Bucks Theater next door. Food was outstanding, Server was energetic, engaging and knowledgeable. Will definitely visit again.

First time at Stella to celebrate my wife's birthday and we thought the place was one of the best in the area. Food was delicious and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!
