The three stars really says it all. It's not bad, it's not great. The service, while all very friendly, was slow and the meal ill-timed overall. It was more than 50 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our entrees, and the restaurant was not busy enough to warrant that kind of wait. I appreciate having some time to eat my salad, but this was far too long. When the entrees did arrive, my husband's steak was not cooked at all as he'd ordered it. Considering it's a steakhouse, they should understand how to cook a filet. He did send it back and, to their credit, they brought out a new one, cooked as ordered and offered a credit to the bill for the delay. They charge more than I feel is warranted for the overall quality. For my money, I'd much rather go to Jensen's in Eagan, where the quality is always high, and the service is always excellent. Again, it's not bad, but it's not good enough for me to go back anytime soon.

I had reviewed the comments and saw a 3.9 rating. I think that is wrong! We had a wonderful dinner, service and value. We will be back with friends.

For the day before the big valentines weekend it was fairly busy, but not overwhelmingly so. There was no one at the host station so we could check in and we had to wait 5+ minutes just to check in. We were sat relatively quickly once we checked in. but then it was 20 minutes b4 our server came and another 20 b4 we got our drinks we ordered. The had a valentines day meal deal which we tried. We go the stuffed mushrooms, Filets and the bread pudding. The stuffed mushrooms were good, the filet and garlic mashed potatoes were completely under seasoned. It was like i was in a northern MN restaurant in the 80's when they were afraid to use salt and pepper bc its was too "spicy" for their guests. I asked for rare plus and the steak was overcooked. It was an ok meal at best. For a restaurant with "Steak" in its name, i would have expected it to be better. The bread pudding was good, maybe a bit dense and i'm not a fan of raisins i mine, but the praline sauce that came with it was good. It was an ok meal and I wonder if the quality suffered bc it was busy when we arrived

We had a great experience for our valentines date. The bartender helped us get seated, and went out of her way to get us the table we wanted. The food was good, the ambience was nice and quiet.

One waiter and way too many guests. Food was marginal at best. Onion rings were very large, but eay too much batter. Portion sizes were large. I had chicken sandwich although tasty, fell apart as bread got soggy.

I had higher expectations for the salad bar and food presentation. It was similar to Outback with a nicer ambiance
