Pop into Starling for a morning brew and you could easily end up staying until bedtime. After all the coffee machine is dialled in and always ready for action until closing time.

Add a phenomenal selection of 16 draught beers, a well stocked beer fridge, a mean gin shelf and stunning fine wines, you could easily lose a day at this eatery-bar-coffee house which extends over several floors and a new outdoor area.

On the food front, hand-crafted Neapolitan style pizzas are the big draw, but the locally sourced brunch menu is also a winner and available every day from opening time.

Food is served all day every day until 9pm.

Took over 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive, then food order was taken, no complaint on the time taken for food to arrive, was hot and exactly what we asked for, pancakes were huge just too dry and no flavour, maple syrup didn’t make a dent - wasn’t even a skimpy serving but the density was too much. The toast that arrived with cooked breakfast could have carried the weight of the Roman Empire - I’m not even sure how to make toast that hard but it was impressively bad however the rest of the breakfast was spot on. Asked for extras which were missed - it was busy this is forgivable. Overall could have been great - pancakes could be down to preference and what’s a bit of toast, just serviced let it down - might have caught them on a bad day. Hesitant to return.

An enjoyable Sunday night quiz which Dan ensures is good fun. Matched with good food served by an enthusiastic team (even on a Sunday night!). All good and highly recommended.
