   Really great location, ambience and food. Service that we received wasn’t great. Waitress didn’t seem to care for us at all. Live music was super loud. Hard to talk but good music.

   I went in wanting to love this place. The ambiance is dark & moody in a good way - the Christmas decor was on point. It took a bit longer than needed to get drinks when the restaurant was mostly empty at 5:30pm. We ordered an appetizer and decided to split an entree. Both items arrived at the same time & no split plate was offered but we asked for one & it came quickly. After dinner we decided to split a glass of champagne, no over indulging and driving this holiday season for us - making smart decisions. A flute of champagne was delivered and placed between the two of us in the middle of the table. I looked at it and my best friend, "hey can you grab that wine glass off the table next to us?" It may seem odd to share one drink but it's not unheard of. We poured half into the wine glass said cheers & enjoyed the lovely JCB sparkling rosé. It was a nice option on the wine list. I made reservations and noted it was a birthday. No mention of this or even an offer of dessert. I was hopeful for a dessert with a candle for my friends birthday. For the price of the bill I expected more. The appetizer and entree were amazingly prepared and tasted good. I feel like something was missing but hopeful if I try again the missing piece will appear.

   Best ambiance in town right now!!! Service was slow on our most recent visit but not normal as this has become a favorite and usually very good service! A hidden gem that won’t stay hidden long for good reason!

   When you walk in to the hotel There are signs that direct you to the elevator and a star inside of the elevator. Walking in to the star longe I see the decor and it looks like a nice place for a romantic date or to go with some friends for a drink. As far as food goes for starters we had the bread and butter service which was delicious, for mains I ordered the chicken it has a fancy name but it was chicken and potatoes, the gravy was a little salty but complemented the chicken well, my date had the bolognese pasta wich was tasty. We did order the drinks the old fashioned was good and the Pom reader was ok... it got better the longer I had it sitting there... now the reason for the 4 stars was service, we had reservations and were promptly seated only to sit there for 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged then it was another 5 before we got water. This is not how all guests were treated another table sat down and was almost immediately brought water so I am not sure what the difference is. It just made for a much longer date night then anticipated. At the end of the day I would recommend trying the place at least once... I may go back but if so it will be to try happy hour.

   The food and service was wonderful. Such a beautiful restaurant. Very small and dark swanky vibes. The music was quite loud, but it was live and that just added an extra special aspect to our date. Highly recommend the bread and butter service and the old fashioned.

   Last night my friends and I gathered to celebrate my birthday. The Star Lounge is a beautiful and cozy place! I loved the whole intimate ambience , very much so gave the date night vibes. The food selection could have been better but the drinks were great!! Kudos to the bartender and our waitress! She was very sweet and I appreciated my birthday treat at the end! I’ll be back next time for happy hour as I heard there’s more food and drink selections.

   The ambiance was great! The food was good but the portions are very small for the price. The service was great until we moved to the lounge area for an after-dinner cocktail. The service in the lounge was slow.

   Drinks were top shelf. Service was meh, had to flag down our server a few times as she was running everywhere - staffing? Calamari appetizer was fantastic. Salmon was a bit mushy. Overall, this is a great place, possibly an off night.

   It might have been loud but I did not care! The ambiance is beautiful the food was SO DELICIOUS and the drinks delicious! We have been for just drinks before and finally had the chance for dinner. We will definitely be back! 10 out of 10!

    We enjoyed our time at the Star lounge. Thanks to the host for allowing us to change our table. We wanted a more intimate quiet area. We were initially seated right next to a couple who was rather loud and kind of made our time awkward. The food was great and the feel inside is very warm and cozy.
