Asked to change the potatoes that came with the main and had to order a side. When your paying £35 a main and then having to pay extra for the some potato? Over priced overall

Another lovely meal all 3 courses were amazing particularly the pork belly which was the best we’ve ever tasted. They also did a lovely plate with 3 sweets on it for my other half’s birthday which were all home made and so tasty. It is such a relaxed atmosphere here that it’s a real pleasure to eat here. Their Sunday roasts are the best!!! It is now our favourite restaurant to go to and we’ll be back very soon!!!

I would recommend St Leonards to everyone, we’ve eaten there on a Sunday before and really enjoyed the food and service. This time we used the private dining for a celebratory birthday meal with the family and its was amazing!
The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic, enjoyed by us all.
Thanks to Terry and the team

Nice location, welcoming staff, nice food and wine. Only downside is mainly related to the actual interaction between OpenTable all and actual restaurant. While booking from the App I thought I paid a total of £185, I ended up paying £302. The only thing added from the initial booking were 2 Aperol Spritz. Not sure what happened but definitely something requiring improvement to avoid nasty/expensive surprises.
If you add £100 for the taxi , a Friday night dinner costed overall £400 for which I could have easily done it in Central London into one of those fancy restaurants and taking the train.

Great food as usual. We have not had a bad meal here, whether it’s been Sunday lunch, taster menu or steak night. My only issue is service can be slow. They were very accommodating to fit a large group in and helped make a night special.

We have visited many times - but the consistently high standard of food and service is why we keep returning. The way we do it - 3 courses a la carte plus nice wines - means it isn’t cheap - but it IS excellent standard & actually if you had the set menu and cheaper wine it would be much cheaper - but still great food. We like to go for special
Occasions (birthdays etc) and to push the boat out but whatever your reason for going, the food is always delicious & the service friendly and efficient. I can highly recommend it! Thanks Terry & team as always.
