   Everything tasted great but I didn’t really see value with sharing plates. St John in Farringdon wins in this respect. Everything was tasty but I expected a bit more considering the location and price point. Thank you for serving us however.

   Food amazing, staff great. However, we were recommended wine without being told the price and it appeared on the bill at £126. We had tasted a bottle at half that price so I had assumed the recommended wine was priced similarly. Bit cheeky really.

   We had good food and excellent service that dealt openly and honestly with a system issue that meant food was delayed. Lesson for me is that the upstairs dining room is preferable and I’d not go with the sharing plate style of service on offer. To be honest I prefer Smithfield St John.
