We've always enjoyed St. Francisville Inn for Birthdays and special occasions. This trip it was my Wife's Birthday. We were early so we went to the bar for drinks, bartender was nice and attentive, drinks were good, we were later shown to our table. We started with the Lobster Bisque which was tasty with lots of lobster throughout. For entrees my wife ordered the Pecan crusted redfish and I decided on the Scallops with lobster risotto. Wife's fish was a nice portion, on the other hand my Scallops arrived with just two smaller sized scallops on the plate. Plates were tasty but I couldn't believe I was served TWO scallops as an entree, especially for the price! Wife shared her fish with me. The waitress checked on us and I asked if I could order two more scallops! In the past they usually gave the birthday person a little dessert, this wasn't even offered this time-she did wish my wife Happy Birthday and wrote it on the Bill. Really tired of Paying more for less everywhere , it seems The Inn is going that way here lately, friends experienced some of the same on their last dinner here. Stopped at the grocery for dessert and a snack on my way home.

A small town gem that will leave you wondering if it was real or a dream. Each element of our experience was thoughtful: Attentive and kind waitstaff, delicious and beautiful food and a welcoming home transformed into pure magic by the owners’ whimsical and classy touch.

Responded to fb ad about lobster. Made a reservation for 6;00. Upon arrival was told they were out but had bisque. Opted for the bowl instead of cup of bisque. Bowl was about 1/4 full. Can’t imagine how much less could possibly be in the cup. Got bread pudding for desert. 2 layers of bread and very dry with a sauce on top. Very disappointing and overpriced for what is received. Will not visit again.
