Awful service. They accepted the reservation but the kitchen was closed.

This is a very noisy place with he bar surrounded by dining tables. Typical pre made hotel food! No hostess to check you in for Open Table or dining. Our server was amazing, Tony! Decor was beautiful. Great for a quick drink not fine dining.

Sadly, the small dinner menu was not good. And it’s not the same as online. (And they have misspelled words on the menu—look for it.) The chicken was literally half a chicken on a plate with no flavor and crisps of leek that looked like straw. The meatballs do not come with focaccia, it was two pieces of thin garlic bread-like wafers. The pasta was small and dry, without much sauce on it. The Caesar salad tasted good, but had too many anchovies in it. No bread or anything with it. The breakfast was very small as well. It took forever to get water and service and there were only 5 people in the place. When I had to ask a manager for water, at 8am, he literally asked us, “What brings you in today?” Which was random, so I said, “we stayed here last night and want breakfast?” What a bizarre question, not “how are you today?” We stayed here on purpose because they had a restaurant in the hotel. The place is beautiful, but SKIP this restaurant. Too many other good downtown Tucson food choices.

Going to the Fox this is a great place to grab a bite before or after. Make sure you give yourself ample time, they do get a lot of folks in at the same time.

We decided to check this restaurant out because it is across the street from the Fox theater. We had plans to see Judy Collins and concert, but she postponed we ended up going back to the restaurant and spending several hours there having appetizers and cocktails. I was really impressed with the interior of the hotel and the restaurant. Parking was easy. We use the ballet right in front of the hotel the staff and the restaurant in the bar were very attentive, including the manager who came to check on us. We decided when we go back in February to see Judy Collins we are going to spend the night so we can walk back across the street from the Fox theater and relax some more .

The waiter was brand new, only on job 2 days and didn't understand the menu or anything else and no one was helping him. Ultimately I had to order 3 different entrees because each order was either rejected by the kitchen or the meat couldn't be cooked to my desired temperature. Hint don't order medium rare hamburgers. Because of the service delays and our desire to attend the concert at the Fox Theater I was limited on what I could order. Mind you we arrived at 5:30 to make a 7:30 performance, yet at 6:30 I still hadn't had anything to eat. Chicken couldn't be ordered because it took 40 minutes to cook. I ultimately ordered two shrimp tacos which weren't anywhere near the size the manager indicated but I ate them and left hungry. The manager was apologetic and comped my meal but honestly what was that inexperienced staff member doing on the floor alone? Why wasn't the staff member provided both training and support from another staff member or manager. The service was simply unacceptable and the manager didn't make it any better. Food was good, nothing to rave about, can get the same stuff from any chain restaurant in town for much less. Unfortunate because had we had a reasonable experience we would've eaten there regularly as we attend several concerts at the Fox Theater. Poor management, poor staffing, poor service, average food.

The menu is limited but there is enough variety and the food is good. Wine prices quite high by comparison with the very same wines elsewhere. Everything decent until we wanted to leave to catch a concert across the street. The waitress disappeared with our credit cards. Fifteen minutes later we tried to find her. Finally, she returned with excuses and the Manager with more excuses. Late for the concert due to an inexcusable service failure.
