    Had an outstanding experience at Spring and Porter for my parent’s anniversary. The food was amazing. And Jenny, our server, was completely attentive and friendly. I highly recommend them.

    Our dinners were in the top five of our all-time favorite meals! We cannot wait to return (which may be a while since we live over 300 miles away). Our one and only complaint would be the fact that our waiter brought us a loaf of bread we did not ask for and then charged us five dollars for it. We know it’s a petty thing, but still. It will not deter us from returning when we’re back in town.

    All three of us loved our meals. Everything was excellent, but Heidi was the best. Really made our meal special.

    This restaurant gets stronger and stronger. Venison was to die for and perfectly cooked. Our ceci de pepe was also a ten. Great wine by the glass list and great non-alcoholic beer, wine and mocktails.

    The Caesar salad is made with white anchovies and is so much tastier than those same salads made with the standard canned anchovies. The venison blackstrap was phenomenal. It was accompanied by a port cherry sauce that left me wanting to lick the plate - I didn't want to leave a drop.
