   We had a fantastic first time at Spice Bar. The food was absolutely lovely. We chose the banquet and let the chef decide, we were not dissapointed and so much food. The service was some of the best I have had on the Sunshine Coast. We will be back!

   Back to its BEST, service was great 😊 Food was delicious and 5 Stars. Awesome Special Place but not cheap.

   The steam baskets everywhere feel dumpling house but it is friendly Queensland laid back vibe with lovely Melbourne style food. We had the banquet to leave it in the chefs hands and the food packed a punch and fantastic if you love asian flavours. My favourite was the soba noodles with the frozen dashi sorbet - a lovely twist on a staple Japanese dish. Combined with the warm and attentive service, we left very full and satisfied.

   Absolutely outstanding degustation! Hubby and I have attended many restaurants and tried different degustations on a semi-regular basis for years, and by far, Spice Bar is our firm favourite. We generally do the 7-course, hubby gets the wine pairing and I do not. The meals are beyond delicious, the quantities very good (it doesn't leave you feeling too full, but are definitely satisfied) and the ingenuity of some of the dishes are amazing! Who would have thought that smoked bone oil would be so incredibly good that it makes you want to lick your plate?! And dashi cream? Yes, sounds strange since dashi is a seaweed, but oh my goodness, that dish of sashimi, smoked bone oil and dashi cream is one of the best plates we've ever tasted, hands down. The beef tataki and scallop aburi are also amazing. Every part of those plates leave you wanting more! We took friends with us this time round and they too were beyond impressed. We travel a 4-hour round trip to visit Spice Bar, and it's well worth it for the quality of degustation. This time Ruby served us; she, like all the other waiters we have had attend our table, was lovely! So pleasant and friendly, chatty when we talked with her and discreet when we were in conversation between ourselves. We've never had a poor experience at Spice Bar and and have highly recommended it to many friends. Many thanks to the chefs and staff of Spice Bar for an outstanding experience that never fails to impress!

   Great food and excellent service which made for a truly pleasurable dining experience. I highly recommend Spice Bar for any occasion whether for a special event or just a lovely place to eat. The location is a bonus.

   Had an amazing time at Spice Bar. The food, service, staff and ambience was amazing. Special mention to the wonderful Ally who was so obliging and welcoming to us, especially my wife who was in a wheel chair. Ally went out of her way to greet and assist my wife. Will definitely return - food was amazing. Thank you

   Congrats to Chef and owner Sophie & Team on a tasty and technically outstanding dinner. The menu offers many temptations from local produce. A must visit in Mooloolaba.
