   Server and manager were behind amazing. My daughter’s hamburger was burnt on the outside and all an adult size when I was told it was a kids size hamburger. Salad was underwhelming. I loved the people watching however!

   This new spot was very cute and the food was for the most part, good. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed, he kept forgetting to put in drinks we ordered and even charged us for extra glasses of wine we never got. He forgot to put in our side of broccoli, blamed the kitchen and rushed it out. The “burnt” broccoli was mushy and watery. I would give it another try in some months when they get more settled, figure out where they are lacking and tie up some lose ends.

   Overall the evening at Sparrow was enjoyable. I had a reservation and called with a last minute change to add an additional two people and the hostess was pleasant and accommodating. Although the seating was a bit snug we were all comfortable at the table. The decor is gorgeous. It’s a calming blend of whites and browns with gold accents. Gorgeous! Our server was terrific. She was able to answer our questions regarding the preparation of various entrees. She was attentive to our needs throughout our visit. The cocktails were delicious. The spicy margarita was perfection. The food was average. Nothing stood out. If anyone has food issues they do not make any changes to the preparation. There were very few gluten free options. I had the halibut with lentils and it was non descript. The desserts were fair. Overall, our visit was average.

   Everything about Sparrow Kitchen & Cocktails is amazing! The service, the ambiance, and last and most importantly the food, are phenomenal. My favorite app was the Hamachi Crudo, under the raw bar section of the menu. We also ordered the grilled octopus special (highly recommend). For dinner I enjoyed the cacio e pepe and my husband the rigatoni limone. All pastas are made fresh daily, so needless to say, dinner was impeccable.

    We went there on Valentine’s Day. Very pretty, staff were nice even for a busy time. There was a pricey price fixed menu. Overall food was very good. Tasty orancini and short rib crostini. We asked for bone marrow from the main menu, it was 24 dollars and nothing special. I had the brick chicken and it was very nice, flavorful and moist. Hubby had the surf and turf. Both lobster and medium rare steak were cooked nicely but needed more floor. Dessert was gelato and banana pudding both nothing special. We also had a glass of Prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries as part of the price fixed. The spicy margarita cocktail was enjoyable
