   Bar Snacks night! For this round, Sparrow+Wolf collaborated with guests Chef Gary FX LaMorte, the founder of Honest Hospitality and Bartenders Anthony Jamison and Chase Gordon of Las Vegas' The Sand Dollar Lounge. Entertainment included -I hope my ID is correct- DJ Adam of @prettydone, a bedazzled and bedazzling contortionist, and a smooth saxophonist. Menu prices* for the experience remained stable at $16 for the food options, $18 for the cocktails. Full disclosure, I received complimentary wine (glass), two cocktails, and the dessert. *exception was the lobster dim sum dish ($26) offered to guests by Chef Brian Howard. Also, Chase gave customers shots of a most scrumptious grasshopper. Value: Outstanding. Diners may eat and/or drink as much (ahem, me) or as little as desired. The food from both sides of the kitchen was delectable. Very shareable too that I could see e.g. Elysian Lamb Chop and Cote de Veau. Cocktails were strong and creative, whether it was Drew's take on a Pink Squirrel (a spicy tongue-tingler and sweet cherry shake) or the fiery smooth Black Tie, Camille's refreshing citrus Velvet Monk, or Chase's Carajillo de Chiapas, which entailed intensive creation of the caramel. Atmosphere: As the night advanced, super lively. Always a fun way to discover new edible adventures and culinary twists.

   Enjoyed the hummus and tartare. Ribeye Steak was ok but not that great. Broccolini not for me. Sweet potato ok. Service great. Wonderful ambience.

   Service was great overall, our server was knowledgeable and brought the right kind of energy to the table. This was the second time I’ve eaten here and I’d say that this visit the food was severely underwhelming, especially for the cost. We really wanted to enjoy the recommendations, but many were just misses. Perhaps it was just this menu offering, but nothing blew us away or had us wanting more.

   This has been my favorite dining experience of 2025. We needed to move our reservation so ended up at the bar and that actually was a wonderful experience because the bartenders were all really friendly and fun to talk to. Watching them prepare drinks and hear the stories behind the drinks was really entertaining. The food was superb from appetizers to dessert. I loved all of the Vietnamese influence in the various dishes that we tried even though this is not a Vietnamese restaurant. Too bad we were just visiting. I would otherwise go here regularly. Delicious and fun!

   We had a great time at Sparrow & Wolf! The food was exceptional - don’t miss the sourdough, the tartare, the pork and the lasagna. Our server Felicia was just a doll! She made us feel welcome and was so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

   The two of us shared many tasty dishes tonight. Began our meal with the REFRESHING red snapper crudo in persimmon sauce..very fresh with a nice crunch of walnuts. Beef Tartare with Grilled Bread was delicious. Oxtail hummus had lots of oxtail meat served with warm naan bread was totally AWESOME. Octopus in squid ink risotto was incredibly tender. Black pepper honey pork Secreto with vegetable/fruit puree was well flavored and balanced. Banh Cuon Rice Rolls were filled with many ingredients, amazingly delicious. We indulged in sorbet and fresh fruits to end this fabulous meal. Totally enjoyed all these dishes. All were excellently executed and delicious. Superb meal! Wait staff and servers were attentive and efficient. Best meal of our trip. Will definitely return shortly.
