the food was bland and mediocre - except the gazpacho which is always wonderful. The fries were cold; Spanish style ramen was overpowered by the chorizo. the pork loin was too greasy and flavorless. the noise level is off the charts and the restaurant was too cold - why the fans going? which made the noise levels worse.

We came for Restaurant Week but were advised that the diner was no longer offering that option - ? I made the reservation specifically where the details were located yet still couldn’t get the special. They had it there last year so we were confused. Be that as it may: the service was professional, personable, and quick. Sangria drinks were so tasty and cold- just what we needed! The croquettas were perfect and delicious; so good I didn’t leave one for my friend to try (sorry!!). My dining companion had a very tasty tuna empanada which she loved. We each had the pollo con arroz with caramelized onions and garlic—this dish begs for more of them, otherwise truly delicious and flavorful. Did not try dessert because we were too full. Going to miss this particular section of the Spanish food scene to make way for a Mexican place. But well then get reservations inside, which is cute too and definitely warmer in the winter than the diner space.

Super disappointed. Service was very slow. There was some language barriers but that part was fine. Food was lukewarm. Portions were small. Over priced. It wasn’t a busy night at all.

The restaurant was too cold. Feel bad for your employees. It was so cold, the payment machine couldn’t record my e-signature. I had to warm up my hands to e-sign.

I was so disappointed that the large screen TV’s were blasting the soccer games at full volume at 12 noon. People can’t enjoy their brunch and have to shout when the TV is on that loud. Spanish Diner is not Blondie’s Sports Bar.
