   I dined at Southern Social with three friends on a Sunday evening at 5:00. We had reservations, were greeted with a smile, and seated promptly. Our server was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Two managers came to the table to welcome us. Three of us had wine flights, and one had a glass of wine; all were delicious. I enjoyed the petite filet , medium, with loaded mashed potatoes. Both were outstanding, and the steak was cooked perfectly. One friend enjoyed the salmon, and the others loved the shrimp and grits. We declined dessert after indulging in a marvelous meal. This is a great venue for a special dinner or just a delightful evening out with friends.

   Food was beautiful and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive to all details of our visit. Southern Social and this restaurant group are always on our radar when seeking a fine dining experience.

   Our server was extremely nice but very busy which limited her visits past our table. The outside seating was loud due to the vehicle traffic and train that past by. The shrimp pasta dish was good but too much cheese for my taste. The “fried pimento cheese sandwich” appetizer was excellent. Overall, the food and service was good while the food was over priced.
