   Always excellent , we have being dining at South Bend Bistro every time we visit Sunriver. And everything is always excellent! We do miss the outdoor tent and heaters that were available in the deck after COVID . It made for a very cozy, ambiance. Wish they were allowed to have the outdoor tent again . But inside us beautiful with a very elevated dining experience.

   We love sitting at the bar when it’s just the two of us. The bartenders are engaging and entertaining. The food is always great. We did notice that the portions have gotten smaller especially the salad.

   We have eaten here about 30 times and always enjoyed our food/experience. Food, dessert, and cocktails are impressive every visit. David and Cully take good care of us. They always pair our meal with an amazing bottle of wine to complement the dishes. 10/10 - thanks staff at South Bend

   Always a great evening. Food is consistently wonderful. Love everything. We enjoyed the crab cakes, salads, filet and crispy chicken. Never disappoints!

   A wee thinly staffed … only two on the floor so there was a timeliness issue that could have been resolved more quickly. BB had a Negroni & I had Hendricks martini. Smiles & sighs around. Crab cakes lacked pizazz but were effective in stoking appetite. Duck breast was perfect. Pasta with veggies & scallops made a big hit. Beautiful wine list with lots of NW & some CA, French Spanish etc offerings. The wines offered are considerably younger than even earliest drinking windows in many cases. I get it. We were pretty easy prey for dessert but no lactose free offerings. Treats were all tempting. Last time we visited this space it was a first rate bike shop. Glad they’ve been around almost 20 years. Looking forward to our next visit already.

   South Bend Bistro is awesome, we try to go there every time we visit Sunriver. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our food and drinks were excellent. Look forward to our next visit.

    My first time at South Bend Bistro was so much fun. I was greeted by Cully and David. The restaurant is very nice and intimate. I quickly ordered a Dirty Martini followed by an appetizer. I had the crab cakes which were amazing. Followed by a Cesar salad and the pork chop for my entree. I have been to bistros before and it was usually good food, small portions and high prices. Not the case here at SBB. The portions were very satisfying and the prices are very reasonable! The service is empecable and I will definitely be back!! Thanks Cully and crew!!!
