   I had a great time. We were greeted when we arrived and escorted to our table. The vibe, lighting, music and energy was great. The food was fresh and flavorful. Drinks were pretty good. Servers were patient and helped in decision making(we dine in slowly). I normally give a cash tip to servers but gratuity was included.

   The food was excellent. However, there seem to be no rhyme or reason to the way the food was brought to the table. Our dishes were straight forward. The person who ordered plain catfish didn't get their food until everyone else was almost done eating. It was if they forgot the order, and offered no complimentary lemonade refill. The server was a little nonchalant about not serving certain dishes on Sunday. I was also surprised that they didn't serve Coffee on Sundays.

   This place is exceptional. The food was better than we could have imagined. The service was equally as amazing and the music will have you singing and dancing between delicious bites. YOU MUST order the collard greens dip. We ordered 2 unbaked to take home because it’s that great. There were 2 in our party and we ordered 3 entrees and we are so happy that we did. We ordered the catfish and grits, short rib bowl and chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes and the collard green dip. All of it was amazing. If you can’t get a reservation order in because it’s just that great. We will definitely return.

   My first visit. Customer service was amazing. Thank you Unique and our server. Food was good but the greens were a little salty for my taste. Portion sizes were decent and drinks were very good. A little pricey for what we had (chicken and fish), however, I’m a firm believer in charging what you believe you’re worth. Would definitely return and support.

   Impromptu date went well. I've been to this location multiple times. From 1st point of contact to check out, the service was great. The food was favorable per usual. To my surprise, happy hour was in effect. That menu was reasonably priced and good bites. We will return. Overall menu will have you wanting to build a meal. Fortunately, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

   The appetizers are delicious, fried green tomatoes and short rib tacos are a treat. I didn’t care for the seafood fried rice but the manager took the dish off my bill and replaced my dish with the hot honey fried chicken. I requested the sauces on the side but the chicken was really good plain. The only negative thing I have to say is that a can of club soda is $7 and that is insane because that’s the price of a twelve pack and the waitress didn’t enlighten me about the price and I ordered two. I was not happy about that but that’s the only complaint. Everything else was fantastic. It was a once in my lifetime experience.

   Met the Chef/owner and she was so amazing and sweet! The food is cooked from the heart and definitely her soul! The Woodson Family will be back!

    Absolutely amazing experience. One of my new favs in the city. I will be back and bring friends! The food was definitely made to order-(i burned the roof of my mouth being so greedy over the dip!- somebody should add shrimp to that dish). The staff were so warm and checked on me often. The pork chops were scrumptious-not over-fried, not over-seasoned, and tender—they took care with it! I was so pleased with the ambience…if ur a music lover ur going to be boppin your head while you chew! Great spot. Great experience.
