   The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the service did not match the excellence of the food. It was a very busy Tuesday night, but that being said, the staff should have been able to accommodate what they booked. Our server rarely came around to see what we needed and we asked several times of different people, including the waitress for water which we never got. When the bill came, I gave the server directions how to manage the different cards and cash and it was a giant mess up with no apology. After having a really lovely meal, despite the lack of water, this definitely upset me and left me with a sour feeling toward making a return visit.

   Best pizza I’ve ever had in the U.S.— possibly even in Italy. Giampiero is a master pizzaiolo. He’s an artist with hands of gold. Omar is our favorite server (although everyone is polite and professional) bc he’s warm, friendly, engaging, welcoming and really makes us feel like family. We drive about 2 hours to get here bc after you eat this pizza, mediocre just won’t do. Truly a must. In fact, we’re going back tomorrow! Yes! It’s THAT good!

   I came here at opening (12 pm) on a Sunday Oct 27. I ordered a gnocchi special appetizer and was astounded at the $28 price for 9 balls of butternut squash gnocchi. While it tasted good, it was a little too eggy for me and didn't taste like butternut squash. I really came here for the pizza, and I've been here several times before over the last several years, but this was the soggiest Neapolitan pizza my friend and I have ever had. It was not crispy on the edges at all for this style of pizza. The wood-fired oven seemed like it wasn't even on when we got there. I was very disappointed. The straw that broke the camel's back was the that I ordered a margarita pizza and a pistachio tiramisu To Go on a separate check. The tiramisu was very tasty but was overpriced at $16. The margarita was $18, which is pretty normal for the area. Yet, even with tax and a 20% tip, I was somehow charged $65 when it should've been about $45 and I didn't notice this until I looked at my bank statement a while later. I stupidly refused a receipt and I'm never making that mistake again. I don't think I'm ever coming back here.

   The food was so fresh and so delicious. Such great dining experience. We will be going back for sure! The pizzas are authentic and the ingredients are so so fresh. The gnocchi appetizer was a different twist on traditional gnocchi as it was a deep fried butternut squash gnocchi with a Gorgonzola cheese sauce. And the Cocolete for dessert was the best I’ve ever had! Just super!
