Reflecting Perry’s profound appreciation for Chinese culinary traditions, Song Bird’s menu is designed for sharing and is a testament to Perry’s commitment to cooking with fresh, locally-sourced premium produce.
Situated in Sydney’s Double Bay and set over three levels, Song Bird exudes a sophisticated yet welcoming ambience. Housed in the heritage-listed 1960’s masterpiece ‘Gaden House’, designed by architect the late Neville Gruzman, Song Bird's interior immerses guests in contemporary elegance with a subtle nod to Chinese sensibilities.
Neil Perry AM is one of Australia’s leading and most influential chefs. He has been the Food, Beverage & Service Director at QANTAS for 25+years, creating one of the best dining experiences in the sky.
For groups of 10 or more, guests are required to dine from one of our set menus. We offer our share-style Expressions of Song Bird Menu at $138 per person, allowing guests to celebrate with a glorious feast of Chef Neil Perry’s signature dishes. To enjoy the full Song Bird experience, diners have the option of enhancing their menu by adding chef’s Menu Supplements.

Our group dining space in Song Bird is nestled in the tree tops overlooking Double Bay and can accommodate up to 18 guests. Guests are asked to dine on our share-style Expressions of Song Bird Menu at $138 per person, allowing guests to celebrate with a glorious feast of Chef Neil Perry’s signature dishes. To enjoy the full Song Bird experience, diners have the option of enhancing their menu by adding chef’s Menu Supplements. We had two tables. One for our daughters and one for our parents. And absolutely stunning Yum cha late lunch. The girls and parents absolutely loved eating at Songbird. We will do it again later in the year.

Songbird is a wonderful restaurant. You must order the crab omelette so delicious. The dumplings are great too. Wine by the bottle is expensive but great cocktails and wine by the glass. Highly recommend going there.

Celebrated birthday with our 93 year old father. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was wonderful. Pastry on pork buns out of this world and everything so very very fresh. Will definitely go back.

Food very much in the tradition of NP. People on the floor really solid but perhaps lacking that flawless authenticity. All the little things clock-up and when you are paying premium perhaps it is ok to have some expectations. Nothing at all wrong with any of the people.
