   It was as expected for a new restaurant. It's beautiful inside and definitely a vibe. The staff all around were great and attentative. Some menu items were out and unavailable to try, which was a bummer. We did try the chickory and crab salad, chicken/caviar sliders. We were not super hungry as our reservation was at 9pm, so we did not order much. We did order a few cocktails and those were delicious. Overall I think the restaurant is going to be a hot spot for a while and worth a try.

   I had an amazing time! The vibes are unmatched. It's dark, intimate....very sexy. Would make for a great date night or girl's night out. The food was delicious. The Brussels sprouts were the perfect crisp. Already planning to go back with my friends. 😊

   First, I wanna say thank you to our server Hassan T. He was great and saved me from being disappointed in ordering how I was going to order. I still got what I wanted but in a way it made sense. You have to appreciate a person that does that. He was doing his job but it didn’t feel like a job. He wasn’t overly friendly but wasn’t matter of fact. He was warm and fun. Observant as well. Good at reading the room. I ordered the lamb shank, collard green lasagna and the parker house rolls. Let me say that the collard green lasagna ISNT a lasagna. I thought it was along the lines of pasta with collard greens. It’s more like a spinach artichoke dip and instead of eating it with chips you eat it with the bread. IT WAS FIRE but I wouldn’t suggest it as an entree. It is definitely a starter. The rolls were fluffy and light. I’m not a fan of truffle butter but the butter on the parker house rolls was just the right amount. It came with butter on the side but I didn’t use it so I can’t rate it. The lamb wasn’t for me. The sauce it was in was good. It was cooked well just light on the flavor. The polenta was not good. It wasn’t horrible I just didn’t like it. I had the Sir Davis drink. Very good. The music, ambience and energy was very good. When I made my reservations I knew I was going to put on “real clothes” and it was nice to see my community is a space that makes them want to put on “real clothes”. I loved that I didn’t have to go far to have an upscale experience. I loved seeing elderly couples dressed up and enjoying themselves, knowing they didn’t have to drive far either. Overall it was just BAHM experience. I can’t wait to go back I brought the rest of my collard greens and rolls to my grandmother and she loved it. She’s ready to go try it lol. I guess she’s about to make her own reservation.

   Beautiful interior. Looks straight out of a movie. We had the butternut squash risotto and the salmon, both were delicious!! Service was A+. We are so excited to have this in our neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back.

   I really wanted this to be an outstanding review and encourage everyone to support and try it out for themselves. I came from out of town for my birthday and canceled my plans at another restaurant when Issa R announced the opening of Somerville. Reservations - I made for 7:30p I was seated at 8:20p. However this is partially my fault for changing the party size from 4 to 2. However the crowd wasn’t large enough for them to make me wait that long. Plus we were over it and done ordering and eating in less time than it took for them to seat us. Ambience - 10/10 amazingly gorgeous. Band is nice, however, it’s LA I’m sure they can get so many locally talented musicians and singers. Hopefully this is coming in the future. Drinks - AMAZING. Food - I’m sorry to say, it just wasn’t great. We had the Chicken and Caviar sliders - they were ok. Didn’t see the caviar. Just fried chicken and white sauce on a bun. Truffle Fries - good no issues. Salmon - small portion less than 3oz. No flavor, looked steamed, not sure how it was prepared. Sauce was very bland and honestly nasty. Lamb Shank - cold, unseasoned, weird flavor. Dessert - nothing on the menu made me want to try it. So no dessert on my birthday lol. Overall if I still lived in LA..I’d definitely make this my go to spot for drinks and to hear live music. Maybe a night cap date night situation for sure. Dinner absolutely never again.

   Beautiful space. Seems like they are working out the kinks with the service seeing as it just opened. The collard greens lasagna and Bread were SO good!

   I had an amazing experience. The service was amazing. From the valet team, to the check-in staff, to the bar staff, to the servers. 10/10 across the board. The food was delicious. My cup was never empty. The live music was great.

    First of all, the service was great! I’m a foodie and I’m open to trying many different types of food but the menu was a little odd. I ordered the Duck Confit & added the Fingerling Potatoes, all of which was delicious. I also ordered the Mighty River cocktail & it was delicious as well. However, some of the items on Somerville’s menu are imaginative but not in a good way. One of my guest ordered the fried chicken sliders that comes with caviar, crème fraiche & honey mustard (a little odd but interesting combination. Since the person is allergic to most seafood, it was ordered without the caviar. I would’ve liked to try one with caviar but the restaurant was willing to put the caviar on the side🫤. I usually have a serious sweet tooth, but the combination of foods & flavors on their dessert menu are off-putting. We tried/shared the Profiteroles & it was just ok, not worthy of reordering. Will I return to Somerville? Hmmm🤔
