   My second visit in the past 6 months and it did not disappoint again. Evie the host was as lovely as my last visit. The manager Tom radiates a vibe of proper care, like he wants you to really enjoy it! Thanks Tom! The head chef Charles came out and gave us a little linguistic lesson on croquettes (croq-kets being the French/English pronunciation, croq-ket-az being the Spanish pronunciation) and I could taste the matching passion in the croquettes with every bite. Highlight for me the croquettes! Chatted the evening away long after the meal under the heatlamps and open marquee. Felt cozy, intimate, and exactly what I needed after a long day of work. Will be back

   Although we could not attend the Terrace, we thought that the team went above and beyond by calling us amidst dealing with a huge fire. Thank you for being so considerate.

   Awful! The staff couldn’t care less. They just stood and talked to each other whilst customers were waiting to be served. We sat close to the bar and I watched one of the bar staff stirring a drink, then tasting it from the spoon, adding another ingredient and then giving it another stir with the same spoon an then tasting it again! It was so disappointing and unprofessional. We were there for a special occasion. We left as soon as we could and went somewhere else.

   Nice time at the San Miguel bar again. Service was pretty decent, although some servers were a lot more switched on than others. Some looking at the bar which was empty, rather than keeping an eye on diners. As usual, the music was a bit too loud. This venue, unless going for work drinks, is a place to catch up with friends and you want to be able to hear them properly. I wish the menu was a little more extensive but they don't have a full kitchen. Still, I love the location, being able to sit outside near the river in a very calm setting. Prices are very reasonable.

   It was disappointing. No where near as pretty as the pictures on line. The high seats were soooooo uncomfortable and even tho that white loads of empty sofa tables and tables with hardback seats, we were told couldn’t move as they were reserved. Even though people with reservations never came and we said would be prepared to move if they did.. shame because the food was lovely as were the cocktails.    We had a lovely time at the Somerset Terrace. The atmosphere was lovely and perfect for a summers day. The food was brilliant, fresh ingredients and the wood fire flatbreads were gorgeous. There were quite a few menu items that were unavailable which was a bit of a shame considering it was only around 3pm when we had food. But overall lovely experience. Perfect for a more casual spot of lunch and drinks in a beautiful venue.

   Having booked a table in advance we were left waiting whilst walk-ins were served before us. We had to leave the table 3 times to get someone to provide us with the drinks we ordered and the surly supervisor said if we don’t like it, leave! He was rude and unhelpful. 20 mins to get a drink. Food was good but service very poor. Capped off with being over charged by £98!. When contesting the bill they still left service charge on for the higher amount. A lovely evening ruined. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend or return

    Lovely early evening tapas with the family. Pretty bar, away from traffic, with a nice ambience. Very decent food and drink. Front of House clearly take their service seriously. A really nice find on a summers evening.
