    Went for a Valentines evening meal, food was beautiful and service was excellent. Good friendly and relaxed atmosphere, would definitely go again

    Lovely menu choices, veloute was luke warm - wasn't sure if that's the way it is meant to be served though but I was expecting it to be hot. Steak was beautiful, thick cut chips could have been cooked slightly more for my liking as some where still hard, pepper sauce was beautiful. Cheesecake was lovely. They need to offer non-alcoholic wine and beverages, seems most have to drive to visit as the car park outside was full, so the options would be nice instead of fizzy pop or water. There was a 0% beer available not everyone likes beer with a meal. I heard the table next to us asking for gluten free and that wasn't an option either so maybe need to reconsider their drinks menu and making it more inclusive. Our table was shoved right into a corner, my husband was squished in. Overall a lovely meal but there are tweaks to be made to warrant the price tag of visiting there.

    Lovely lace to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Really enjoyed it and the food and staff were exceptional.

    We visited Softley to celebrate my wifes birthday. We were welcomed to the restaurant as soon as we arrived. The restaurant was lovely and warm and were shown to our table. The staff were amazing, incredibly polite, efficient and friendly, the food was delicious, very tasty, and well presented. We were constantly asked if we required anything extra or more drinks. Overall it was a really fabulous experience and we would recommend Softleys to everyone. Absolutely first class restaurant.

    The food was delicious with plenty of choice for a Sunday lunch, it was all very well presented and hot. Service was excellent not rushed and enough time left between courses, excellent value for money.

    We ate from the lunch menu and it was an excellent meal and really good value for money. The ambience is just right, there was no loud chattering coming from the table and the service was top notch. All round we had a wonderful lunchtime meal in a special place.
