   The decor is super cute. I had been wanting to come for lunch or dinner for ages but unfortunately the decor was the only thing we liked :-( We had a set menu as I wanted to try the restaurant first before coming for a special dinner with my husband. Sadly it was disappointing. We all had squid as a starter ( out of 3 choices only 2 were available, I would expect a restaurant like this to offer an alternative when one option is sold out). This starter is meant to be a “socca staple”. It was tasty enough but not as a whole starter, it would have worked as a shared dish. A whole big bowl of crispy squid with nothing else but a bit of mayo like sauce on the side was a bit sad and could have definitely done with a bit of salad or something else on the side. We all followed with the pasta. The veg ragú was tasty but the pasta was undercooked ( the wrong side of al dente). I ate it all as I don’t like leaving food but my two friends left some of theirs as it was hard. We decided not to “risk “ desert and instead went elsewhere for ice cream. A real shame as I had high hopes this would become a new favourite. Service was ok from our waiter but the rest of the staff were not that great. Had to call in various occasions for water . When we ordered a second glass of the same wine we had we were told there was no more and instead offered another one which was very similar. This was in fact a very different wine which we didn’t like at all and when we pointed this out we were just handed over the wine list with no explanation or willingness to help ( by someone who could have been a manager ? Not sure ) . The right attitude would have been to ask what type of wine we liked and go through the options rather than just giving a list of wines we didn’t know and where the next available wine ( apart from the one we hadn’t liked) was double the price as the one we had in the first place. The bread was the best thing of the meal. At over £40 a head I was very disappointed.

   Absolutely sluggish and terrible service. Very short staffed with managers walking around not doing much for customer service even though they can see tables waving for attention from the one or two people who are juggling to serve everyone. Food was just ok!! Would not recommend the octopus - in fact we couldn’t find any in the midst of a bowl of tomato puree! Pasta was just ok and had no salt. Don’t waste your time or money! What a shame!

   Beautifully place but the service was horrible. Had to ask for menu, the weiter never asked if we want to order more drinks.

   Lovely service, very welcoming. Felt relaxed before we even arrived, as we phoned to let them know where we’re running late and a lovely man put us at easy. The best espresso martini! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion dinner.

   Really delicious food and lovely service. Very nice ambience and nice surroundings. Starters a good size but main courses very small indeed with no sides included.
